WARNING: Jimbert involved

---

Once upon a time, in a kingdom not so far away, there lived a king and a queen. For many years, they wanted to have a child of their own. They finally got their wish and gave birth to a princess named Aurobert. The king and queen were overjoyed and they threw a party in honor of the princess.

Everyone was invited, including Bonzo and Jonesy, two fairies that visit the kingdom often. The fairies were there to give their gifts to the princess.

"I give princess Aurobert the gift of beauty and the ability to charm guys," Bonzo began.

"I give the princess the gift of song and the--" Jonesy was cut off by the fierce opening of the door.

"It's Maleficent," Bonzo said.

Jonesy gritted his teeth. "What does she want here?!"

Maleficent looked at the king in the eye. "Well, quite a glittering assemblage, Your Majesty. Royalty, nobility, the gentry, and--" she looked at the fairies-- "oh, how quaint, even the rebel."

Bonzo angrily tried to fly to Maleficent, but Jonesy stopped him.

Maleficent continued. "I really felt  quite distressed of not receiving an invitation."

"You were not wanted!" Bonzo said.

"Not wa--?" Maleficent looked puzzled, but she laughed and continued. "Oh dear, what an awkward situation. I had hoped it was merely due to some oversight. Well in that event, I'd best be on my way."

"And... you're not offended, Your Excellency?" the queen asked.

Maleficent looked at her. "Why no, Your Majesty. And to show I bear no ill will, I, too, shall bestow a gift on the child."

Everyone gasped. Bonzo and Jonesy surrounded the cradle.

"Listen well, all of you!" Maleficent proclaimed. "The princess shall indeed grow in grace and beauty, beloved by all who know her. But, before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday, she will prick her finger on a spindle and spinning wheel, and die!"

"No!" The queen took Aurobert in her arms.

The guards tried to stop Maleficent, but it was too late, she left the castle.

"Don't worry, Your Majesties, Jonesy didn't give his other gift yet," Bonzo said.

"Can he undo this curse?" the king asked.

Jonesy shook his head. "I cannot, sire, but I can help the princess. She will not die, instead, she will fall into a deep sleep. She will only wake up when she is kissed by her true love."

The king was still scared that the curse will happen, so he ordered everyone to burn all their spindles and spinning wheels to prevent the curse from happening. And since the king was even more scared, he told the fairies to take care of Aurobert and hide her deep in the woods. And so it was done.

The kingdom nor the king and queen never knew where the princess was, but Bonzo and Jonesy did exactly what the king said. They lived like commoners and took care of her. And since Aurobert just turned sixteen, it was almost time for her to go back.

"Alright everyone, from the top!" Aurobert told Bonzo and Jonesy.

Bonzo clicked his sticks four times. Jonesy started the song with his bass. Then, Aurobert started singing.

"You need cooling
Baby I'm not fooling
I'm gonna send ya
Back to schooling

A-way down inside
A-honey you need it
I'm gonna give you my love
I'm gonna give you my love"
