Annabeth walked through the halls of the new school she was going to. Every once and a while she would see her bestfriends (Percy and Thalia) walking around but never paid a lot of attention I that.
Annabeth put her books in her locker, which was slammed shut by a girl named Alexis. "Hey geek girl" she said coldly. Annabeth glared at Alexis. "What do you want slut?" Annabeth snapped. Alexis laughed. "Oh well I just wanted to tell you that Percy is mine." Annabeth could feel her heart start to break. "He'll never love a girl like you!" Alexis snapped. Tears threatened to leak out of Annabeth's eyes. She turned her head down. "Haha Stay away from Percy. He'll never like a nerd like you!" Alexis said, turning and walking down the hall.
Annabeth ran to her dorm that she shares with Thalia and slammed the door. She threw her backpack to the ground as tears glided down her cheeks. She jumped on her bed and smashed her crying face into her grey pillow. Muffled sobs escaped her mouth. Soon the door opened.
"Oh my god Annabeth!" Thalia said, concern flooding her voice. Annabeth looked up but started balling again. Thalia hugged her, not asking what was wrong, but immediately knowing. Thalia let go of Annabeth and walked out the door. Annabeth went back to crying into her pillow.
"Hey Wise Girl" Percy said softly. Annabeth's head shot up. "Wh-what do you want Percy?" Annabeth asked her voice shaking. Percy looked at her with sorrow. "Annabeth, I don't like Alexis. I like someone else." He said sitting down next to her. Annabeth tried to move further away but instead hit the wall. "You p-probably like some slutty girl then" Annabeth sniffled. Percy shook his head. "Nope. She has beautiful grey eyes that I could get lost in. Oh and I'll never forget her amazing blonde princess curls." Percy said, his eyes shinning. Annabeth chuckled sadly. "I like someone too" she said. Percy gestured for her to go on. "He has eyes that look exactly like his fathers, they're resemblance is the sea. His hair is always messy and it's jet-Black." Percy smiled. "Oh and he's also a Seaweed Brain" Percy's eyes stared into hers. "The girl I like is a Wise Girl" he smiled. Annabeth sniffled. Percy wrapped his arms around Annabeth's waist. "Don't let anyone bring you down Wise Girl, I'll be with you through thick and thin." Percy said. Annabeth cried harder into Percy's shoulder. Percy moved his face down to hers and sealed their lips together. Annabeth smiled into the kiss immediately, along with Percy. They broke apart. He brushed the stray tears off her face and took her hand.
They walked to class together and sat next to each other. "Hiya Percy!" Alexis said. Annabeth rolled her eyes, they turned stormy grey from the anger engulfing her. The bell rang. All the student piled out except for Percy, Annabeth, and Alexis. Alexis wrapped her arms around Percy's neck and connected their lips. Anger bubbled inside Annabeth. Tears gliding down her cheeks when Percy pulled her off. Alexis smiled deviously seeing Annabeth cry. "Wise Girl!" Percy said sympathetically. "Ugh gross" Alexis said. She pushed Percy off Annabeth and smashed her lips onto his. Alexis grabbed Percy's waist begging for him to go into her. Annabeth sobbed loudly. Percy finally got Alexis off. "Good thing I was your first kiss!" Alexis snickered. "No" Annabeth said. "What" "no" "what do you mean 'no'?" "I mean no. I was Percy's first kiss" Annabeth said. Percy smiled at his Wise Girl. "Stop staring at me Seaweed Brain" she said. Alexis huffed. Percy grabbed Annabeth's waist and kissed her smoothly. Annabeth kissed back.
