Riptide slashed against blackbitter. "You. You'll never get Annabeth! She doesn't love you! Your betrayed her!" Percy screamed. Luke laughed. "She has never loved you Percy! She has always loved me!" He laughed. Percy's eyes filled, tears dripped down his face. Luke grabbed riptide out of Percy's hand and ran it through Percy's stomach. Percy stumbled backward a few steps before crashing onto the ground. "NO" Annabeth screamed. Luke dropped Riptide at Percy's feet.
Annabeth shoved Luke to the side before neeling beside the wounded Percy. "W-Wise Girl" he choked. "Percy, don't die on me, please" Annabeth pleaded, tears streaming down her face. "I have no control over that Wise Girl. But I have one question." He spoke. "What is it?" "Did you ever love me?" Tears poured out of Percy's eyes. Annabeth stared at him in shock. "Seaweed Brain" she said before pressing her lips against his. "Percy I have loved you since you saved me from the sirens" she breathed. Percy smiled. "I'm gonna miss you Wise Girl" Percy said. Annabeth's eyes turned dark grey. "I'm gonna miss you too Seaweed Brain" she said. Percy's eyes were draining of life. "I love you Percy" "I love you too Annabeth." Percy kissed her once again. "Goodbye Wise Girl". Percy's last words stabbed Annabeth. She kissed his forehead. "Goodbye Seaweed Brain" she sniffled.
She took riptide off the ground and stood up facing Luke. "Family, Luke. You promised me" she said. Luke was taken aback. Annabeth stabbed Luke through the heart. "I never loved you" she screamed. Luke looked at Annabeth. "Well, I guess I can finally come to my senses now" Luke said. His body went limp and Annabeth closed riptide. She put it in her pocket and sat next to Percy. She dragged him to the ocean and laid him down in the tide. She knew he wouldn't wake, but he wanted to be somewhat home. She opened Riptide again and ran her fingers across it. She stabbed her stomach with the sword. She took it out of her and placed it next to her. She laid down next to Percy and interlocked their fingers. "I'll see you soon Seaweed Brain" she said closing her eyes.
Annabeth woke up in a grey room. She sat up from the bed she was in and looked around. There was a figure standing in the door way.
