Surprises

We get to the cell. The problem? The door's locked.

"How will we get in?" I asked.

"Through the vents" He replied before jumping up, grabbing onto the ceiling, opening the vent and climed through. I followed wanting to know what happened to the creature.

"I can hear you coming in through the vents Bucky, but who's the scrawny one?" The same voice asked.

"He is the one that screamed like a little girl," Bucky replied.

"Oh, can he not. I have enhanced hearing and the was painful," It continued.

"I'm right here," I yelled, and I don't scream like a little girl. That's insulting.

"Hello," That eerie voice, I don't know why it has one, it looked like an animal and not a human. And yet, it spoke. Albeit I have seen weirder things, this is still close to the top.

"Hi" I muddered, not knowing what to say. "can I come in?"

"Yea, or I could just give you what you want and I can be left alone," It replied.

"Okay, where did you come from?" I asked.

"The nuclear meltdown a little while ago. That's where, now can I be left alone, I'm watching the Office and I can't hear it," It explained.

"Okay, thank you" I was kinda bummed, I wanted to study how it looked but if it has wishes I want to respect them. And if Mr. Stark wants us to be the next generation of Avengers I want to start out on the right foot.

"Who are you talking to?" Mr. Stark asked. 

"The guy that screamed like a little girl and the guy with a metal arm, why?" It relaid.

"Where are they, I need to talk to them," He continued.

"In the vents, the echo is distinct," I then new I messed up. I thought that curiosity was supposed to kill the cat, not the spider!

"Okay guys, living aria. Now." He demanded. I don't like being in trouble but I'm so bored and this is interesting, but I guess that doesn't matter to M- Tony, I need to start remembering that.

We all got to the living room and sat down.

"I asked you not to investigate her, and I especially didn't want you to go in there, she's half wild and I don't want you to get hurt. I understand that this is boring. But I don't want you to die before you can get married and have a long life, I will tell you about it later. But right now I want you to go and talk to Steve, same goes for you Bucky." He advised.

"Mr- Tony, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to and I just wanted to talk to someone who-" I was immediately cute off.

"Kid, I'm not mad, just worried. I don't know what she can do to any of us, I'm endangering everyone here just by keeping her in the compound, I don't want anything else to happen to you, that's why," He finished. Bucky had already left to go and talk to Steve. I began heading towards where I though Steve was. But I realized that with the expansion of space I should probably ask.

"J.A.R.V.I.S. where is Steve?" I inquired.

"He is in the gym," The A.I. answered.

"Thanks," I said as I ran towards  the room. 

It took a little time before I got there but I eventually made it there. Him and Bucky were just finishing their conversation when I walked in.

"Hey Peter," Steve greeted.

"Hi, Tony sent me down here to talk to you," I forced, but at least I remembered first name this time.

He inhales deeply. "Patience,"

"Wow, I can't believe this, do you actually give those speeches on a regular basis!" I laughed.

"No, but I do know that it is a virtue and that you did need some. I can understand that you want to know what's going on and why things are happening. But for now, let's just try and focus on your story for a little bit. Then you can start learning about others" He explained.

"Okay, thank you. But I wouldn't mind if you could help me figure out what's going on,"

"The only thing that I'll tell you is to trust us,"
