Chapter 23: Get Ready

Sky Grace's POV
The time has finally come. It was time to get ready. In the student prep room, hundreds of students got ready. Me, Gumball, Rosie and Lulu ran into a bathroom/dressing room and locked it. We were sharing a dressing room. There were four mini rooms to get changed and two big make up stations with 4 stools. This was made for us. Literally. We a!l ran to get ready. I heard Rosie screaming with happiness. I took a good 20 minutes to do my hair, perfectly. To be fair, nothing is perfect. But, my hair looked great. For once. Lulu actually thinks I've got really nice hair.

For my make up, I let Lulu do it. She was still in her purple towel, with her make up done. After she finished, I looked in the mirror and gasped. I was transformed. She had gave me a red matte lip, and gave me some blue eyeshadow with a golden glow in the corner of my eyes. I looked amazing. I was shocked. My glasses made the look complete. I forgot to mention, I had brought some new royal-blue glasses. It was until fifteen minutes later, that Gumball had finished getting ready. I knocked on Lulu's door, and she said she was just doing her hair and then she would be done.

I expected Lulu to come out ten minutes later, but she eventually came out at 6pm. As she walked into where me and Gumball were sitting, we stopped. She was breath-taking. Lulu even put on pink eye contacts. Rose-gold is definitely her colour. Gumball was stunning, too. The dresses really complimented their figures. Rosie didn't come out until half six which was boring having to wait. When she did come out, we all stopped. Her dress was huge, but I didn't expect it to be that big! Her hair was tied into a bow with curls. She looked beautiful, I almost felt envious. But, I realised how great I looked. We honestly slayed.

We had an hour or two to wait for the dance to begin. Rosie kept re-spraying herself and brushing her teeth. Lulu was painting her fingernails a soft-pink. Gumball repeatedly smoothed out her dress, and drank a lot of water. As for me? You ask. I was reading my favourite book on wattpad, whilst drinking some tea out of my flask. The book was called Food Chain and it was written by myway173! Hint, that's me Sky! I always read my book in my spare time.

The wait was up. someone knocked on our shared dressing room, and then I heard someone knock on the other rooms. It was time to begin.
