I raised my scythe.
"Who are you?" the old man asked
"Death."
His eyes widened.
I cut his head off then looked at the blood covering the floor.
I cleaned my scythe and put it away, collecting his soul.
"Grandfather."
I hid.
"Grandpa."
The guy saw his grandfather.
"Dammit! Why?"
I vanished before anything else could happen.
I went home.
"Just where have you been?"
I looked at Jonah. "Out."
"It's past midnight?" he said
"As if I haven't noticed."
"Okay." He held his hands up in surrender
I started up to my room, Jonah behind me. I snuck back in my room and got ready for bed.

"Like your outfit." Zoey told me
"Thanks."
I looked at the orange dress with a teal belt and my sand colored wedges.
"You're always so stylish." Sasha said
"You guys dress way better than me." I said
Zoey was wearing khaki shorts with a pink top, her brown hair in a bun. Sasha was wearing a grey boat-neck with a pair of red skinny jeans, her black hair was its natural self. Pen was pretty in whatever she wore. Tody she wore a light blue skirt with a white cardigan, blonde hair langing loose.
We went down to breakfast together.
My dad and Ted were already there.
I kissed my dads cheek then said good morning to Ted.
I sat where I normally did.
"Morning." Jonah said walkking in the dinning room in only black pajama bottom
"Go put a shirt on." I said biting a piece of toast
The rest of the girls turned to their food.
"Jonah, I'm pretty sure none of these young ladies would like to see you shirtless." Ted said
"Morning to you too, dad." Jonah said
I looked at my father, who gave me a would-you-please-be-nice look. I looked away.
Jonah came back, a shirt on this time, and sat on my right.
I ate my eggs and joined the girls' conversation.
"Dad, we're going to the mall." I said when we finished eating
"Alright. Take your phone with you."
"I know." I replied then kissed his cheek and left
The mall was about an hour away from home. We went to my my favorite store, Dots, where I bought two outfits.
We went from store to store buying cute clothes then hit the food court for some lunch. We went back to my house then hung out in the arcade.
"There's a party next Saturday." Sasha said "Gabrielle's sweet sixteen."
