After my arguement with Jonah, he seemed bothered. Whenever I saw him he looked like he wanted me to insult him.
When I say we didn't speak, I mean that. We haven't spoken to each other in three weeks.
It felt like heaven. Almost.
Being only a Reaper, I couldn't go up there.
My father traveled from earth to heaven and hell.
He was the one doing all their dirty work.
It was wrong, but God had things to take care of.
I appreciated the fact that I was given some space by Jonah. I mean, I live with the guy. I see him at breakfast and dinner. Over the weekends I see him a lot around the house. When I go to the arcade, he's there with Sean, Victor and Chase.
Being grateful for peace, I continued living my life. Taking souls and wiping out evil.
School was a relief.... Most of the time.
Jessica's friends started talking about me.
I swear she hated that Victor sat with us during lunch.
I wish I could slap the smile off her face.
"Hey babe." Ty said, giggling
If only he wasn't gay...
"Hi Ty." I said walking to homeroom
He smiled. "How was your holiday?"
Christmas...
I spent it with my dad. We had things to do. We made it home Christmas Eve though. We had a dinner then following our ritual, dad let me open one present at midnight. I got a locket (that I can't or still get open).
I got other presents, yes. But Jonah's caught me off guard.
While I gotten him a gift card to whatever he wanted and a G-Shock, he got me this amazing sweater.
It was black with awesome designs in different colors.
Did I mention it was waiting on my bed for me?
Well I just did.
It was so nice.
I left it in its box and pushed it under my bed.
Now looking at Ty, I shrugged. "Nothing really."
"Same here. Except my aunt came over."
I laughed.
We went into the room.
At lunch, Victor walked over to us.
"Hey." he said
"Hiya." I said with a smile
"What happened to Gwen?" he asked
"Shut up." I said looking at Cody who was now dating Fiona
I looked at them then at Zoey.
Pen, Sasha and Zoey have been by my side since the argument with Jonah.
"Who's going to homecoming?"
Cody and Fiona were down. Zoey and Daniel. Pen and Erick.
It was only me and Sasha.
The bell rang and I went to throw my garbage away.
"Oh look it's her." Jessica said
I ignored her.
