Chapter 1: Chūnin Exams?

3rd pov

Currently, a young raven haired girl is sitting against a tree trunk in the forest not far from Kumogakure.

Maki pov

"Hmm, interesting," I murmured to no one particular, it just flies out of my mouth..ya know those moments when you just talk to yourself for no particular reason? Well that's what's happening to me now, and I kinda dislike it since I don't talk much...

I quickly break away from my thoughts and my eyes trail back to the complicated written words in a neatly painted red scroll I found on Hyūga, of course I would never admit that. Anyways, you see, I finally found another scroll I haven't read and perfected yet and boy was I excited....on the inside. I may have or may have not stole it from the Raikage but wait! He wasn't really mad because he said something like that was a failed mission or something soooo I could read it!!!

Well right now it's saying something like and A rank consisting of 3 Shinobi assigned to retrieve or capture-

Suddenly, I sensed the low chakra of a falcon circling above me, I brought up my pupil-less eyes and indeed, there was maroon feathered falcon continually flapping around in circles above my head. I heaved a sigh, rolled up the scroll, pushed my self up, and shunshinned outside of the Raikage's door.

I quickly noticed Hiroko and Kaito's(my 2 teammates) presence and glanced at each of them before balling my right fist up and tapping three times on the great oak door. We waited for the "Come in", and I swiftly opened the door while the three of us strolled in the rather large office.

"I see you made it here on time," A, the fourth Raikage, stated. After a pause of silence, he continued. " Anyway, I hope you have all hear of the upcoming Chūnin Exams being held in Konoha....I want you three to participate in it." He finished.

The three of us nodded our heads.

"Meet at the gates in an hour, dismissed." The Raikage informed while I just decided to poof to my house to pack. I do this quite a bit and my teammates grew used it so they don't complain about my anti-social antics. However I do sometimes drop some sarcastic remarks here and there because....actually it's just a feeling that u have to do it but I never do this when people I acknowledge as higher than me.

Once I made it to my rather plain room, I grabbed a few packing scrolls and gathered up my ninja equipment with some money. I put a few shuriken and kunai in my ninja pouch in my right leg, then sealed the rest in the scroll. I quickly strapped my father light trusty katana, sealed away my sketchbook and some pencils, sealed away some scrolls, and stashed my book, The Tale of a Gusty Ninja, in my waist pouch. I briskly tied my black Kumo ninja headband around my forehead, letting strands of hair escape. I didn't need to get changed since I was already in my normal ninja outfit so I tucked the packing scrolls in my waist pouch along with my book and headed towards the gates.

Along my way to the gates, I was greeted by a lot of the villagers respectfully since I was known as Kumo's secret weapon in the village. Although it was nice, I hated it, I always hated attention so I quickened my pace towards the Gates.When I was approaching the exit, I saw my two weird teammates blushing and looking away from each other....it was quite weird. I've had this feeling that they both secretly like each other because I've got some evidence in the past few years of being with them.

*flashback*

I was casually walking down the road with my two idiotic teammates when I caught Hiroko sneak a glance at Kaito but due to their unfortunate luck, Kaito did the same, at the same time causing both of them to lock eyes. I observed as they both quickly looked away with massive I MEAN MASSIVE blushes on their face.

*End flashback*

Then there was this time in the hot springs....

*flashback*

I left the boys to go to the women's change room and I was enjoying myself in the baths. After awhile I decided to get changed and go back out to wait or find the boys there. When I came out, I just see my teammates looking at each other then back at the men's change room with blushes dusting their cheeks...and that's when I assumed, they didn't go in at all.

*end flashback*

Then there was this time when the two tripped over each other....

*flashback*

I was just passing by when I witnessed Kaito tripping over a rock and landing ontop of Hiroko. They both blushed madly and rapidly got to their feet. Kaito was apologizing like crazy so I just quickly whistled and left as If I don't know them at all.

*end flashback*

You get what I mean. Anyway I quickly met up with Hiroko, Kaito, and Hurai, our Sensei and ninja jumped towards Konoha. It seems Hurai-sensei already knew of this so we continue our journey to Konoha!
