The man was stunned, watching the girl's body lay on the dirt-covered ground. The dirt, definitely getting in her hair and on her clothes. The vampire's limbs twisted in a cramped position, making the man standing cringe. He walked a few steps closer to examine her body intimately.
His shadow, looming over the girl's body, the shadow created from the light of the moon. Glaring down on the man's husky body, giving enough light to emphasize the man's features more. The luminescence of the moon, glaring on his left bicep. Where a tattoo of a triangle is shown.
The tattoo of the triangle represented his pack. Each werewolf apart of it had an identical tattoo on each of their left biceps. The elders had used this symbol to be able to interact with members of their pack.
There was a time where vampires and wolves were living united. With no rules, no laws, no boundaries.
Outbreaks of fights among the two were started every day. The vampires were unhappy with the wolves and vice versa. The conflicts rose, especially at night. When it was a primal instinct for the wolves to hunt. The vampires, egging on to the wolves' anger and hunger. The vampires were likewise tempted by the large bodies they possessed, desiring to drink every ounce of them.
Many died in the battles, this alarming the pack leaders from the wolves. They had many of their pack members leave to find homes in secrecy. Planning to keep their bloodline alive. the only way to communicate with the rogues they sent were the triangles. Letting pack members know who's on their faction to help.
Whether the triangles were carved in trees. Written on the soil that they walked on and even engraved on the bones of their victims.
The triangle symbolizes power and unity. Seeing that tattoo was a warning that the person in possession of it was a part of the Alpha Pride pack.
The man had reached out to grab the unconscious girl with no struggle at all. The wolves hunt every night. It was their daily exercise. The wolves could run up to miles and still wouldn't get exhausted. The man, still in his nudity. Had carried the girl with an arm under her knees; The other supporting her head.
The wolf had thought the vampire had died for a second. As he wasn't aware of his surroundings, too busy getting comfortable in his human body. After taking a closer look, seeing her chest go up and down, reassuring him that the girl was still breathing.
The wolf carried her walking deeper into the forest, in the wolf's territory. The man had no intentions of bringing her back home to the vampires'. After hearing stories from his pack leaders of how they ate human babies, he was not fond of them. The only exception was the girl that was in his arms, too weak compared to the vampires he's heard about in the stories. The man had started to pick up the pace, trying to run, his legs feeling a little weak. Still not being used to his human form yet, compared to the four-legged beast he usually is. The man started to pick up the pace, going into a full-blown running. His human appearance running did not compare to his wolf's. The man was quick, just not as much.
The man had started to slow down his pace, noticing the familiar trees as he ran by. the boulder he passed by, with a carving of a triangle. The sound of water crashing, getting louder.
