*Mr. Darcy*

~*NINETEENTH CENTURY*~

"Lizzie, hold on to me, just hold onto me, don't ever leave me my sweet pearl" I whispered to my wife's ear while she clings to her dear life.

It's been one year since we got married and five months ago, Lizzie started being ill and her health dwindled remarkably fast.

I caressed her pale face and planted a soft kiss on her lips.

"We will get through this Lizzie, we will", I softly told her while holding her hands.

She turned to me with a weak smile, tears welling up on her beautiful eyes.

She slowly shake off her head. "My time has come Mr. Darcy, my strength has left me and death has come to me" she told with tears in her eyes.

I started sobbing as I hear her words.

"Hush my love, you will be cured, I promise you. I have hired all the greatest doctors in the whole England to treat you, please be strong for us Lizzie, for me" I pleaded.

With a slow move, she pulled me and kissed me.

I responded to her kiss with equal passion and letting her feel my ardent love for her.

My Lizzie.

My pearl.

My goddess divine.

My Mrs. Darcy.

"Promise me my love that when I'm gone, you will continue your life as if you haven't met me. Go to every ball and dance to these beautiful ladies and find new love" she said in between sob as we broke the kiss.

"No..no..no" I said in tears and hugged her tightly.

We both cried in each other's arms, professing our love for each other.

"No! no! no!" I histerically yelled when I felt Lizzie's arms tearing away from our embrace.

"Lizzie, lizzie, please do answer me my love. Lizzie!" I said whimpering as I call her name over and over again.

I frantically check the pulse in her neck and yelled in agony when I felt no pulse beating.

No! This can't be...

"Lizzie, come back to me again, we still need to pay a visit to your sister Jane and to my good friend Mr. Bingley" I said, hot tears steaming from my eyes.

I pulled Lizzie's dead body into a tight embrace as I chanted her name over and over again, not believing that this is happening.

Once the funeral session for my Lizzie has done, I immediately retreated to my room and locked it.

I lay down flatly on my bed...on our bed

I hugged Lizzie's pillow and smell her sweet scent.

A loud sob came out from my mouth.

"Why did you leave me Lizzie, I need you here by my side" I cried out in agony, longing for my Lizzie.

I repeatedly chanted her name while I drowned myself with my tears and sob, hoping to easen the pain caused by Lizzie's death.

I slowly drifted to sleep and before everything went dark...I have seen her for the last time, beaming at me.

I smiled. "Lizzie..."

Then, my eyes are closed.

I woke up to a weird sensation, I opened my eyes and was baffled when the room was blurry.

I blinked again, it's worse than the last time. I yelped when I felt the room swirl around like I'm inside of a torpedo.

It goes faster and faster and I felt like throwing up.

In one abrupt moment, it stopped and I toppled, falling to the ground.

I grunt when my chest hit a solid ground.

I stood up and my eyes bulge out from my eye socket when I found myself no longer in my room but in a place I've never seen before.

I look around with my mouth hanging open, astonished of what I'm seeing right now.

What is this place?
