The six boys sat in Taehyung's cozy living room, the atmosphere quiet and awkward compared to what it would be like a month ago. Namjoon, Taehyung and Jin sat on the couch stiffly as Yoongi and Hoseok sat on the beanbags near the windows, leaving Jimin to sit on the floor like a puppy.
Jin was first to break the silence, heaving in a deep breath before he spoke. "Okay... so where do we start?" Everyone else let go of their breaths that they didn't realise they'd been holding in, loosening their tenseness slightly.
"Maybe we can check Jungkook's room?" Hoseok suggested, looking around to meet everyone's eyes, including Taehyung. A zip of anger jolted through his nerves, but he shook it off lightly, remembering to focus on the mission.
"Yeah, sure," Taehyung said, getting up. "I think there are a few clues I may have missed." He got Jimin and Yoongi to follow him into Jungkook's bedroom, despite the other two's resentment.
Taehyung checked the closets, which seemed to have a few clothes missing. Yoongi and Jimin scoped the bed and study table for more clues. So far nothing much was out of ordinary, until Jimin discovered an interesting red piece of paper in the waste paper basket.
"Guys look," Jimin called to the other two boys. They went over to where the blonde-haired boy was squatting.
Yoongi immediately hopped onto the chair at the desk. A Macbook was left on the table, and he opened it and typed in the password. Taehyung expected it to be fake, but to his surprise the laptop granted them access.
"What do you think it is, Suga-hyung?" Jimin asked, crouching beside the blue-haired boy. They completely forgot about their fighting for that one moment.
Taehyung went to stand behind Yoongi and scanned the screen. School stuff... dance songs... clue for hyungs... "There!" He pointed at a file in the corner. Yoongi double-clicked and it opened, showing a bunch of different text files.
"These must be some notes Jungkook left for us," Jimin muttered, scooting closer to look.
