My best friend « Mikey Manfs »

Part One

Isabellas POV:

My friends Alissa, Alex, Megan and Megans boyfriend Justin went to the mall for a few hours, in a small town like this there isn't really much to do other than going to some store to walk around or just driving around town wasting gas, a town this small it's just the right walking distance to everything; need food about 10 minutes to the Walmart or some fast food place. After we got done at the mall we decided to walk around town, when we stopped at a crosswalk at red-light I pulled my phone out and saw I had 5 missed calls and one new message it was all from an unknown number.

Unknown:
Bella call me when you can

Alex, Megan and Justin left to go to Megans house Alissa and I went back to my house. Once we got to my house it was maybe around 9:30pm close to 10, we weren't ready to go back home yet so we just kept walking around town til we got tired. Alissa wanted to watch a movie so we threw on a random movie, 30 minutes into the movie she passed out; it probably took me an hour after she fell asleep to be.

Around 4 in the morning I was woken by my phone ringing, as I was rolling over to grab my phone off my night stand that's when Alissa decided to push me off the bed. "Ouch" I sat up while rubbing my back in pain, I picked up my phone off the night stand; the call ended before I could answer. So, I called the number back about about maybe two rings in the person answered "Hello, Isabella?" the voice sounded mellow and low as if they were tired "This is she, who is this?" I was trying to stand up after two tries falling of falling back on the floor I finally got up and walked into the kitchen so I didn't wake Alissa up. "You don't remember me, you're best for eight years?" It took me a minute to realize who it was, I only had two best friends that is eight years of friendship and that is Jake Dufner and Mikey Manfs. 

"Mikey? Why are you calling me at four in the morning?" I couldn't believe after three years I'm finally hearing from Mikey, I could feel tears forming in my eyes "I tried calling earlier today but you didn't answer, besides the point" so that's who those messages and calls were from I wish I knew that or we could have talked while there was time too instead of so early in the morning "pack your bags, because your coming to New Jersey." Before I could say anything I heard the phone hang up.

I couldn't believe after three years I finally get to see my two best friends from New Jersey, especially Mikey. I met Mikey eight years ago when I moved to New Jersey for the summer, the apartment my mother bought was right next to Mikey, the day I actually bumped into him I decided to go for a skate, before I could hit the stairs he was walking up not paying attention looking at his phone, I almost fell face down the stairs if he didn't wrap his arm around my waist losing his balance he fell on his back and I fell on top of him. Ever since then him, Jake and I became best friends. We always did everything together before they started Youtube, the year Mikey did Youtube that's when my moms work told us we need to live in Florida for her job promotion.

I did try to keep in touch with him but it was hard, we both got way to busy with life. I was trying to finish school while he become a full Youtuber that needed his attention so we gave up on talking to each other so for maybe three years this is the first time we talked and now I get to see him again.

The flight to New Jersey was an hour and a half, not to bad of a flight but there was a lot of people, all the seats where taken. Once I got my suitcase from the baggage claim area I started looking around for Mikey and Jake; the first person I saw was Mikeys mom. I ran up to her with my arms open, the smile on her face was wide it was like as if her kid came home from a long deployment, "Hi dear," after our hug she gave me a kiss on the forehead. 

I turned to give Jake a hug, he gave me one of those big bear hugs that pick you off the ground, I was so happy to finally see my best friend but where is Mikey? I was about to ask Jake where Mikey was it was like he read my mind "He wanted to come he really did but he got caught up in something, he's at home though waiting for you." I tried to give a big 'its no big deal' smile but I couldn't they saw the little hurt in my eyes, I was really hoping to see him as I landed back in New Jersey, he wasn't here. All I can do is wait til we get back to his house.

Mikey's pov
I haven't seen Becca in so long I'm really extremely happy to see her again, I paid for her ticket to fly over here; Jake, Tyler, mom and I went to the airport to pick her up.

Once we walked in the building I came up with this idea, "I have an idea, I'm gonna hide somewhere where she won't see me and Jake you tell her some reason why couldn't make it and when you guys get to the door I'm gonna jump out and scare her." My mom looked at me like i was stupid "mom it'll be fine." I laughed "I'm gonna laugh if she punches you." Then they three all walked off.

I was hiding behind this wall, I saw her run up to my mom and hug her and Jake and Tyler. Jake walked over to her bags and when he came back i saw her face fill up with sadness she must have asked where I was. She rapped her arm around Tyler and they were talking once they got closer to the door that was when I jumped out, I actually didn't jump out, I waited till her back was facing me.

I quietly ran up behind her, I rapped my arms around her waist she almost turned around to swung on me but my grip was tight for her not to turn around, "Hey beautiful." I was smiling like crazy I loosen my grip for her turn around her once she realized it was me "MIKEY!" She started crying, she jumped up into my arms and wrapped her legs around me.

I heard a click before she got down off of me, I looked over and saw Jake taking a picture of us "Awe look the love birds who have united." Jake started laughing, I looked at her and she was blushing, I couldn't help but smile at her.

We got back to my house and I helped Becca unpack her bags. Me and Jake took her out for dinner, we let her pick where to go, she actually a placed somewhere me and Jack haven't been kicked out so far.

When we go to "That One Placed" Becca sat next to me across from Jake and Tyler we were laughing and talking, when she would laugh or smile it was the most beautiful thing ever, it was like the whole world had stopped moving.

The waitress came up to us asking what we wanted to drink, I saw him flirting with Becca, I tried not to over react, I don't understand why I was getting jealous.
