It was a sunny Saturday. Nearly a week since i was with Lana. I have to admit, that was the high light of my week. I wish i would have been with her longer, thanks to her i still have happiness in me.
New York City, my hometown. Everything happened here. I was born here, my mom died here, my dad left me here, my sisters left me here, i already died here. It had been a while since the sun came out, and gladly, the sun was getting me in a good mood. I decided to go out, maybe to get one iced coffee, since money was still tight. I put on a thin sweater, some shorts and converse. I walked out so ready to go but then it came to me. My car is a stupid mother hugger, it's been dead, and my dad promised to have gotten it fixed. I pulled out my phone and called him.
"Hey dad, is my car ready to go?"
"No, dear not yet," he rambled through the other line.
"Dammit, dad, how long is it gonna take, i wanna go out."
"Look if you want i can give you a ride but in 2 hours."
"Forget it, 2 hours is when i need to go to--"I felt a hand over my stomach from behind me. It scared me straight i squealed and dropped my phone. I quickly turned around and there she was, the most gorgeous thing that has ever happened to me, it was Lana.
"Lana, y-you scared me," i said looking down, embarrassed of my squeal.
"Aww, you got so scared!" she giggled at me,
I noticed my phone was still on my dads phone call, so i picked it up and hung up.
"W-what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Should i not be here?" she asked.
"No, no, it's not that, just... Did you come to see me?"
"Of course i did, where were you going huh, May?" she shifted her body correctly a little closer to mine, smiling.
"I was gonna go get a coffee, but my car, it's still brokem down," i said.
"I'll take you come on!" she grabbed my hand and led me over to her vehicle.
Once we were in, her car smelt like cigarettes and there were a few cans of soda in here along with lighters and empty packs.
She began to drive.
"You wanna know something Lana?" I asked.
"Yea, girl, tell me," Lana said.
"I'm so glad i met you, honestly i don't know how i contained my happiness that i actually am talking to you. You literally have no idea how much you mean to me, your music keeps me goindg... that sounded creepy, i'm sorry," i couldn't resist a smile and looked up at Lana who was also smiling.
She put her hand on my cheek, pulled my head towards her and kissed my forehead. In that moment, I felt like i had it all. The most spectacular, phenominal lady placed her lips on me.
"Baby girl, you're the sweetest, I'd kill for you to be mine," Lana said.
T-to be hers? What does she mean by that?
"How about we pick up your coffee, and would you like to see my house?" she asked.
"Isn't that in LA?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'll pay for your flight, how would that sound? Or, are you busy?"
I thought about. I wanted to so bad, but I just met her. While i felt like i knew exactly who she was, and i thought i loved her, now actually knowing her, i feel like she's any other stranger. But she's no stranger in my mind, she's no stranger in my heart. I longed for this moment since i first heard her sing. She's just like an angel, floating around in a world unknown to her. I have nothing better to do, hell, i'd chose being in her presence than anything else any day. I have to do this, this is once in a lifetime, and i might never, ever feel this happiness again.
"L-lana, I'd love to go to LA with you," I said nearly crying in joy.
Lana surprisingly was smiling also. How could a such an amazing person be happy to spend any time with me?
"Lana, can we forget the coffee, let's just go. Do i need to pack?"
"There's no need to, you're welcome to anything in my home, doll," she said.
I nodded.
"Well, shall we head to the airport?"
"Let's go," I smiled.
*LANA'S P.O.V.*
That smile. So sweet, so cute, so free, why can't she always smile? Two days, and this girl is all i think about, just two little days and i can't get her out of my mind.
