Here I go, with the most prized woman in my life off to Los Angeles, just me and her, I couldn't ask for anything better.
Lana and I pulled up at the crowded airport. Since it was just a few days before Thanksgiving, people were rushing.
"Hey, you ready to go?" Lana asked putting her long thin fingers on my exposed thigh.
"Yeah, I'm ready," I said smiling.
She ran her long red nails on my thighs and opened her door to head out. I also opened my door and she met me on my side.
Before Lana could even take one more step, a guy came running up to her.
"Lana! I love you so much! Can i please have a picture?!" Lana examined my puzzled look and then turned and smiled that beautiful smile to the man.
"Sure, honey," she said so smoothly and dreamy.
He took out his phone and did the "selfie" aim at him and Lana. Right before he took the picture, Lana looked at me.
"Thank you so much, Lana, I love you!"
Lana smiled at him and began walking as I followed next to her.
A few people began to look at Lana, and then i started. First it was 3, then 10, then nearly 30 people surrounding Lana, asking for a picture, kissing her, or proposing to her.
She laughed and giggled with them and i stood, just waiting. I actually enjoyed watching all these people appreciate her because i realized i am just in love with her as they are.
Lana thankfully got rid of the small mob right away.
"Okay, sugar, don't worry, no more stops, we need to head on our flight," She locked her arm with mine leading the way to Gate 7 to LAX.
We passed the security check point, Lana having to remove lots of things of course. By the time we reached the seating area, we had already gotten more and more stares, this wouldn't happed if Lana wasn't so perfect.
Lana sat us down on some chairs.
"Hey, Lana?"
"Yeah?" she said.
"I'm tired," I said hugging her arm and leaning my head against her shoulder.
"You'll have plenty of time to sleep on the flight, doll," She rested her haid on mine and placed her slender hand on my thigh. I had everything when i was with her, she's all i ever wanted and all i'll ever need.
About 15 minutes passed and we finally began to board the plane.
Lana got us nice seats in front with comfortable cushion and seat warmers. I sat by the window and she sat next to me.
"Are you excited?" she asked me, running her hand through my hair.
"So excited," I said looking up at her eyes, considering she was a bit taller than i was.
We stood staring in eachothers eyes for a moment and she looked at my lips. Is she going to kiss me? I waited... But nothing, all thanks to the twat flight attendent.
"Lana Del Rey! Is this your Mrs. Del Rey?" we all chuckled and the flight attendent asked for an autograph and all.
Once she left, I had Lana all to myself.
"Hey, May, do you have any family?" Lana turned and asked me.
"I have a dad in Yonkers, and two sisters in Bronx," i mumbled.
"Why aren't they with you?" she asked.
"They dropped me a long time ago, i would be lying if i said i didn't expect them to do that."
"Why?" Lana questioned.
"My dad said if I didn't go to school, he wouldn't be in my life. My sisters said if i didn't quit the boos, toking and cigarettes, they would leave me forever. I said to myself "fuck it," and went my own way."
"Well, living in your moment is better than trying to live in someone else's. Don't worry, I'll take care of you well," Lana said grabbing my face.
The rest of the trip, i fell asleep on Lana. My leg on hers and my head resting on her shoulder. I fell asleep to her playing with my hair.
I woke up and it was still dark out. I looked out the window and saw the beautiful Los Angeles. Lana too was asleep. I gently kissed her forehead. I tried to reach my phone in my pocket but something stopped my hand from doing so. Lana's hand was gripped in mine.
Could this even be? Could the Lana Del Rey, the light of my life, the butterflies in my stomach, the sweetheart that is on my mind constantly like me?
I felt the plane rumble a bit, signaling it was going to land. I slightly woke up Lana and she quickly looked at our hands, then looked at me.
We both got up not letting our hands away from each other. It was 3:35 A.M. but me and Lana were fully awake from out 5 hour flight/nap. LA, obviously a dangerous place for Lana.
"Aren't people gonna recognize you?" I asked her looking up to her hazel eyes.
"More than likely, but don't worry, my bodyguard is picking us up.
We rushed through loads of people, and made it to a dark car parked, waiting for Lana. She let me in first and then she sat down.
"Do you like it here, honey?" she asked.
"I already do like it here, hell, I love it since i'm with you."
"Welcome to Los Angeles, baby girl," Lana said, just leaning in to meet my lips.
Her lips were literally like kissing baby Jesus' butt. We stood for a clean 10 seconds, the best 10 seconds of my life.
Just to think... Not even a week ago I was on the verge of mental suicide, and now I've got the world right at my finger tips.
