When you find a good mystery story or show anything and you can't stop yourself from continuing to read/watch it just to see what'll happen.
You sit on your couch staring at the tv, watching the British tv show, Sherlock, on Netflix. Right now Sherlock is about to solve "A Study in Pink" as John calls it. You've been sitting here for the past hour or so, barely moving.
It was truly captivating, the way the crime was solved. All laid out as if there was some invisible path that only Sherlock could see. You didn't mind that you couldn't figure it out. You still loved the thrill of the chase, the catching of the criminal, the surprise at every corner.
You had already read most of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's books, as well as watching the corresponding movies. You loved watching the live criminal cases in tv, but usually missed them due to them playing so late.
"Hey! It's time for lunch, get off the couch you haven't moved all morning," your mom yells.
You groan, the episode was almost over, and you really wanted to watch the next one. Oh well, you mentally sigh. Slowly, very slowly as to not miss anything, you get up and head to the kitchen.
You wonder what'll happen next, what thrilling mystery was going to be solved. With that thought you eat quickly racing back to the couch, a bag of chips in your hand, and no intention of leaving for the rest of the day.
The End.
(A/N) I am currently having a marathon of the Sherlock tv show. If you haven't seen it then I strongly recommend you watch it. So I'll update again later today but until then have a nice day😺
