chapter 8

(Katie’s P.O.V)
Heaven is the most beautiful place I've ever seen. It’s exactly how I dreamed it would be, my own personal paradise. I wish I could stay forever like I intended too since I died. But, Castiel came and changed all  that. He told me Marissa made a deal.. Great..
Why would she do that? I thought she would smarter than that. She knows where that'll get her but she's too young to understand apparently. What are Sam and Dean going to do when they find out? Probably kill her.
Castiel took me to my original home. Where it all started. I got to finally see my true father, Bobby Singer. He was more than happy to see me. My memory was still a little foggy. I walk around the house to see what has changed. Nothing has.
I walk to the staircase where I remember Marissa and I standing at the top watching mom go crazy. I also remember sitting around the kitchen table with Dean, Sam, Mom and Dad all as a happy “normal” family. I missed being at home so much even though I hated being around dad’s work with a passion.
I turn around when I hear the doors to dad's office slide open. Castiel walks out with a smile on his face when he sees me.
“Are you doing alright?” He says before hugging me tightly.
“Yeah I'm fine.. Somewhat.” I say with a slight chuckle. I'm still baffled by the whole situation with Marissa making the deal.
“What do you mean?” he asked.
“Just this whole thing is just crazy. This life itself is crazy. Like, why did it have to be Marissa and I?”
“I know how you feel, Katie,” Castiel says and hugs me tighter as I begin to cry.
“It’ll be alright. I promise you we will get everything straightened out.” He says looking down at me smiling.

(Bobby's P.O.V)
I'm not one for all this lovey dovey stuff but I'm glad my little girl is home safe. I still feel like the worst father in the world putting my girls through all this. I never really wanted this for them. They were supposed to have normal lives, going to a normal school with normal people. Sometimes I wish I could start over and never become a hunter. That way Karen would still be here, and I never would have lost my girls. Marissa made a deal with Crowley just to save her sister. What an idjit. But I can see why she did it. I'd do the same thing just to bring Karen back but she deserves to stay in heaven where she'll stay at peace.
I need both my girls here so I  can be at peace. I need to know they are safe and sound here with me not those idjits Sam and Dean. But either way I still love them all.
“Why do you think she made the deal?” I asked Castiel and Katie.
“Because she can't live without you.” Castiel says towards Katie.
“There you idjits go again always making deals to save one another. First Dean and now Marissa.” I said shaking my head.
“Please don’t tell Sam or Dean about this. I promised Marissa that they would not find out.” castiel tells me.
“Well when does she plan on telling them then? She has to tell them some time if i ever see them again.” katie says.
“I don’t know but---” I started to say when my phone rang.
“Hello?” i sayed.
“hey bobby it’s dean. What are you doing?” I hear him on the other line.
“Im at my house why? What do you need?” I ask.
“Well i got a lead on Lilith and she is heading your way. Me, Sam and Marissa are on our way. So be prepared if she gets there before we do.” he says.
“Alright you boys be carefull and watch over Marissa.” i tell him.
“You too.” he said before hanging up the phone.
“Lilith is coming this way so we need to get ready.” I tell them
As soon as i said that we all scattered to salt the doors and windows.

(Castiel’s P.O.V)
This is not good.
I’m so afraid as to how Sam and Dean are gonna react to Katie being back.
I don’t want Marissa to get into anymore trouble than she already is.
She’s bound to be terminated if Dean and Sam see Katie.
They have to find out sooner or later.

(Katie’s P.O.V)
Marissa is gonna be seeing me for the first time in months. I honestly thought she was so stupid for making that deal with Crowley, but I guess that’s how this whole sister thing works right? Risking their lives to save their siblings? Dean and Sam are gonna be so mad at her and I don’t want to be there when they come. They are already dealing with Lilith and they don’t need me as a distraction.
“Hey Cas, can I talk to you for a minute?” I ask as I sit next to Castiel on the couch in dad’s office.

“Sure, what is up?” Castiel says in an awkward manner.
“I think it would be best if I hide in the basement when Dean, Sam and Marissa get here.. Lilith is already weight on their shoulders and I don’t want them worrying about me if they see me. I’m just gonna hide until they have completely killed her off and it’s all said and done. Then, I will come out of hiding and we can tell them the story. I don’t want my brothers stressed out and yelling at Marissa even though it was a dumb decision.” I say looking to the floor.
“If you believe that’s the best decision, then that’s what you can do. But, you are going to make it worse for Marissa.” Castiel says looking at me with his puppy-like blue eyes.
“I know, but I still don’t want Dean and Sam to be worrying about me when they should be worrying about Lilith.”
“Alright, well where are you going to stay until then?” Cas says standing up.
“I’ll hide in dad’s panic room, I can’t get attacked in there, it’s demon proof.”
“Okay, that’ll work. I will text you when everything's said and done. With emoticons.” Castiel says with a smirk.
Castiel leaves dad’s office and I sit in silence alone. Worried. This has to work.

(Lilith’s P.O.V)
Those Winchester boys aren't going to know what hit them this time. You may think you have won but just you wait and see. I will kill everyone that they love while they watch. I smoked out last time but it won’t be that easy this time around. Ready or not, I’m coming to kill you all.

(Dean’s P.O.V)
We finally made it to Bobby’s place, it seems different, she must be getting close. Sam and I help Marissa out of the car and walk inside. Castiel walks over to greet us and so does Bobby. We haven’t seen both of them in a while and it just feels good to be back home. Even though we are dealing with the worst freaking demon out there.
“Have you guys had anything happen before we got here?” I say after hugging Bobby.
“Not yet, we’re still waiting” Cas says walking back into the kitchen getting a beer.
I’m gonna need 20 before the night’s over.
Bobby pulls me aside from everyone and starts to talk softly to me.
“How’s Marissa dealing with this?” he asks concerned.
“What do you think? She is putting on a brave face but we all know where she got that from.” i say looking over to her.
“Well hopefully she can handle herself when lilith comes because she has a lot of anger inside her.” he says
“She will be fine we will watch her back.” I say as I walk over to Marissa who is sitting on the couch.
“Hey kiddo.” i say as i put my hand on her shoulder.
“Hey i have been wanting  to talk to you.” Marissa says not looking at me.
“What is it?” He asked.
“I … ummm I kinda did something that will make you really angry.” she says
“It can’t be that bad kid---.” I started to say when the lights started to flicker.
“Can it wait?” I asked
“Yeah sure.” she said grabbing her gun.

(Marissa’s P.O.V)
I grabbed my gun and ran over to the window to look outside.
“Umm guys…. I think you should come look at this.” i say a little scared.
They come running to see. Right there before my eyes was a huge cloud of black smoke coming towards the house. I slowly start to back up from the window. Then all of a sudden the windows shatter, and i felt arms wrap around me and a knife pressed up against my neck. I could feel the cold edge of the sharp knife starting to cut my skin.
“Man you guys make this too easy for me.” i hear her say as the blade starts to pierce my neck. Blood dripping down my chest. Sam and Dean turn around and automatically point their guns towards lilith.
“Let her go or i swear to god---” Sam starts to say but she interrupts him.
“What does God have to do with any of this sweetheart, he doesn’t care about any of you.” she says with an evil grin.
“You son of a b----!” dean yells.
“Now is that any way to talk to me when I can easily just do this?” she says as she starts to slowly slide the blade across my neck.
“STOP!” Bobby yells.
“Awe but why this is so much fun.” she says with her evil laugh.
I look at Dean then at Sam with tears in my eyes. This is it. I’m done for, but then i remembered that i had ruby’s knife in the back pocket of my jeans. I still feel the blade on my neck cutting deeper but i didn't care. I elbowed her in the stomach and grabbed the knife. I stab her right in the heart. Over and over again i stabbed her. Until i felt hands grab me pulling me off of her cold lifeless body. I dropped the knife knowing it was Bobby holding me tightly. I burst into tears and Castiel came up to me and healed me with what grace he had left. That was then and only then i saw her. Standing there in the doorway. Everyone looked up at her not knowing what to do. I just smiled.
“Whats going on here!” Dean yells angrily.
“Hi Dean.. h-hey Sam.” Katie says.
