What are you doing here!?

(A/N): My school is about to reopen, guess i'll be really busy now :((

....All I know is that life is playing really good games with me and I am loosing.....

Since I decided to move on from Niall I kept myself engaged in my holiday homework to get my mind off him. Things were going all right. It was Saturday morning and mom was not home as usual. She had gone to her friend Sarah's home again because ... I don't know. My best friend Carren's birthday was on Monday. I was planning a nice gift for her when suddenly, the door bell rang. This tingling feeling everytime I get is never gonna stop for sure. I thought and opened the door. There was a man standing at the door with his head covered in bandages and left arm fractured. At first I thought that it is again some homeless beggar but when that guy smiled at me, my body sent shivers down my spine. I realized who he was.

He was Niall.

"Shit!" was the first word that came out of my mouth after recognizing him. Damn!! I said it too loud.

"So, you are not happy to see me, huh?" he said with a tight smile.

"No, no no no no, I didn't mean that. I mean... what are you doing here and what happened to you?" I pretended that I didn't knew anything about his accident.

"Hmm.. I thought you knew...." He said with a sad hint in his tone and I realized that he was looking behind me as if asking to come in. Of course I should have first invited him in since he was in such a bad condition, but I am just... stupid. "Come in. would you like to have some coffee?" I asked with a warm smile.

"Umm.. actually I don't want to bother you. I just came here to say sorry"

"Oh come on Niall, you don't have to be. Come in we'll talk" I said and from inside I was so happy that he just came to say sorry but I felt bad for him at the same time because he went through all this because of me only. He made himself comfortable on the same spot on which he sat before and I smiled to myself. Thank god he didn't noticed.

"Look Amy, I feel really sorry and ashamed about that day since I didn't showed up..."

He started but I stopped him by saying "ohhh... please. Why are you being sorry? It was not your fault that you met with a horrible accident and didn't showed up"

"Wait. Did you knew about my accident?" he said raising an eyebrow at me. Oops! Plan failed. So I confessed "Umm... yeah! I knew. But I am seriously not mad at you so please stop being sorry. I don't like it"

"Well...okay. Actually I was wondering that you will show up at the hospital and visit me cause lol I was all over the newspapers. Guess I was wrong. Uhh.. how stupid do I sound?" he said a little playfully to hide his sad tone but I caught it. I was so embarrassed by this. I couldn't hold it anymore so once again I confessed "Umm.. Niall, actually... I...I did came to the hospital to meet you" now his face was in complete confusion. So I continued "but when I reached your room....I saw this girl, I don't know ..she was really crying and hugging you. I didn't wanted to ruin your boyfriend-girlfriend moment so I just left" I said unsure of my words and also embarrassed. I looked at the ground because I knew that I wouldn't be able to make eye contact with him. "What!? My girlfriend? I don't have any girlfriend." He said laughing. What!! He don't, but I thought that he had...Damn!! I am so damn stupid. Finally I looked up to make an eye contact with him and to make sure that he wasn't lying. "Oh! I am sorry, I just thought that she was.. I don't know...well..umm" I couldn't find any words to say so I just shrugged. "Hmmm... you must have seen my friend Janet... she is like a sister to me. Oh god Amy, such a fool you are!" He said laughing. Great. Now the whole world knows that I am a fool. I tried to make him stop but it was of no use. Instead, I also started laughing. But his previous words were roaming in my head 'I don't have any girlfriend'. That somehow made me really happy. "Yeah, yeah so what if I am a fool? Shit happens." I said controlling myself but then again we burst out in laughter. After so many days I heard him laughing. I was again so happy but at the same time falling for him.
