Birthday party!

(A/N): sorry to update late but my internet connection was not working + I was sick! :(

But somehow I managed to update...

......I quickly rushed home and just waited for the time to tick by......

I woke up at 11:00a.m. due to the screaming of name by my mom downstairs.
"What is it mom?" I also screamed loud enough for her to hear. "Wake up and get ready for breakfast. Its already 11:30a.m."

"its just 11:00" I said but in a low voice. Then suddenly I remembered that today is Carren's birthday. Wooohooo!! I had already wished her at midnight today and she was so happy that I called. I had to reach her house at around 2:00p.m. to help her out with some stuff. So I took a shower and quickly changed into my new dress that I bought yesterday. It looked really gorgeous on me. I was so happy. Then I applied a little makeup cause I am not a fan of it, just some eyeliner and blush. I curled my hair a little and I was all ready now. I looked at the watch and it was 1:30p.m. damn! Did I took that much time to get ready!? I wondered. Then finally I went downstairs and my mom gasped at the sight of me. "OH MY GOD AMY!! Look at you. So so so damn pretty."

I giggled at my mom's words.

"No really you look gorgeous." She was still like gaping at me.

"Thanks mom. Love you. And I have to leave now so I will have my breakfast at Carren's home only" I said. "Breakfast? Sweetie, its time for lunch now. You took a long time to get ready." My mom said and again I giggled.

"Yeah mom, whatever. So byee, I will be back at.....i don't really know. I'll give you a call, okay."

"yeah okay. Take care. But wait, have you taken the gift?" she said to which my mouth hung open.

"Oh my god. I totally forgot to take it. Its in my room only. Thank you mom, you're great! I am such an idiot."

"Anytime." She smiled and went back to the kitchen.

I quickly ran upstairs and carefully took the gift out of my drawer. It was a photo frame with lots of pictures of me and her, from our childhood till now. Then going downstairs I again said goodbye to mom and left for Carren's house.

The large building came to my view as I pulled over to the empty parking spot in front of Carren's house. Since the party was supposed to be held at around 5:00p.m. the street was empty. Carren had a large house with a large backyard in which the party was supposed to be held. I went to the front door and rang the bell. I quickly adjusted my hair and my dress so that there were no more creases in it. The door flew open and there she was. She was wearing a really pretty pink dress and her hair looked awesome.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARRIE!!!!" I yelled and pulled her in a hug. "Thank you so much Amy. I am glad that you came early. I am so freaking excited" she screamed and I laughed at her expression.

"Ya ya and here is your gift" I said and her mouth hung open as soon as she saw the big packed rectangular box in my hand. "Omg!! Now what is it?" she said heading into her house. I followed her. I saw Carren's mother in the kitchen who looked so nervous planning out everything. I greeted her and she complimented me on how pretty I looked in that dress.

Carren ripped the packing paper to reveal the photoframe. She looked carefully at each picture and after she was done she faced me and said "Amy, i....i don't know what to say. Its amazing. I loved it. Thank you so much. I think I am about to cry." She half laughed with teary eyes. I went near her and hugged her tightly. "By the way, did I tell you that you look gorgeous today." I said making her laugh a little.

"Thanks, and that dress you are wearing looks so good on you." She commented and I also thanked her.

After that I helped her in completing some arrangements and by the time everything was done it was 5:00p.m. Slowly, the guests started arriving. Soon Carren also got busy with the guest and I found a perfect spot to sit. It was 6:30 now and I just sat on my spot watching the familiar faces from school pass by. I never knew Carren had so many friends. I just hoped that I don't face Harry. After that incident Harry left school I don't why. Maybe because of some tranfer or something. But I don't care. Since Harry is a good friend of Carren I thought that she must have invited him too. I just wished that I don't get to see his face.

I was just lost in my thoughts when out of nowhere someone tapped at my shoulder. I looked around and that was the least expected person I saw.
