CHAPTER 4
Project praying mantis-
Ok ,so I had found out that Ben's parents had also dropped him off outside a foster home but he ran away and come here hoping for a better life. It was time for the big escape. Ben and I were going to secretly sneak out of our tiny room carefully so that our roommates don't get disturbed. Then we will meet at the top of the staircase and from there onwards we would do this together.
We crept downstairs jumping over the creaky floor bed and past the principles luxurious room. Finally, we reached out destination, the window. It may sound like a total failure but that was out only glimpse of hope. We opened the window carefully so that no one would wake up. We leaped out but it was too late they had cameras and alarms everywhere. We had been caught red handed. The ear splitting noise of the alarm siren awoke everyone. We ran for the gate but they had locked it. We were stuck. project praying mantis had officially failed.
