Chapter 6
Detention-
You cannot imagine what detention was like. You will not believe it. It was the worst two days of my life.
It started off when the principle had given the orphanage staff a day off as she does every Saturday. Ben and I were called to her office, that's when she told us that we were to clean every room in the orphanage. It had to be spotless. We had to polish the floors and dust the beds (since they were the only furniture they had in a room).we had to vacuum the carpets and make the rooms spotless. Ok that was the first day. Terrible right? the next day was even worse.
I woke up to the shouting of the principle. It was day two of detention. Ben, Lilly the principle yelled. we ran down obediently as she told us what we had to do. I froze. We had to clean to bathrooms. It was my worst nightmare. DISGUSTING. so we scrubbed the bathroom and cleaned the toilet seats with a toothbrush so that is was spick and span. I wore gloves and washed my hands more than a million times after that. It was disgusting. All I could say after that was YUCK!
