When I wake up, the other side of the bed is cold. It's been three months since I've been at SHIELD and seen Steve or Natasha. They probably think I'm dead. I get up and do my morning routine. I walk out into the living room and see Bucky on the couch. "Morning." I walk in the kitchen. "Morning." He replies in his rough morning voice. I got out some eggs, milk, and bacon. I began to make breakfast, and Bucky came in the kitchen. "Ready for today?" He asks me as he takes a seat at the table. "What's today?" He looks over at me. "You don't know?" He sighs and walks over to me. "Your going to talk to Fury and try and get some information." I sigh as I crack open the eggs. "Oh yeah I guess I just forgot." I whisper. Although I really didn't. I wanted to see Steve and Natasha again. I wanted to be back at SHIELD. I wanted to go back. I continued to make breakfast trying to get my mind of things. Before I knew it, I was in a disguise walking down to SHIELD. I stopped I front of the large building, could I really do this without revealing myself? I guess I was going to find out. I wrapped my fingers around the metal bars, and pulled the door open. I walked in and headed for the desk. "Hi um I'm here to see a Nicholas Fury?" She looked on her computer for a while. "Johanna Green?" She asked politely. "Yes ma'am." She smiled. "Of course, right this way." She lead me through the familiar halls, down to Fury's office. As she opens the door I hear two voices. Very familiar voices. When the door is fully open, I see Steve and Fury talking. They stop talking, and turn to see me. "We'll continue this later." Fury says to Steve. He nods and brushes past me, out the door. I hear the door close behind me and I begin to talk. "What were you discussing?" I take a seat in front of his desk. "A person we lost about 3 month back." Was it me? I'm curious to know. "What was his/her name?" He sighs and leans back in his chair. "Diamond." He replies. What exactly where they saying about me? I wanted to know everything. "Oh," I look down at my hands then back up at Fury. "So why are you here?" He leans over on the desk. "Oh um I'm here for an interview, with you and some of your superhero's." He raises an eyebrow at me. "Ok then, what do you want to know?" I start asking him questions and write down his answers. "Ok that was the last question, thank you for your time. May I speak to a superhero?" He nods and leads me out of the room down to a hall of dormitories. We walk past mine, and then we reach Steve's. "He's the only one here right now, along with The Hulk, and Black Widow." He walks past me back to his office.

I take a deep breath and knock on the door. After a few minutes, Steve pokes his head out the door. "Can I help you?" I put on a smile. "Actually you can, I'm here for an interview." I say. He nods his head and let's me in. "So what do you want to know?" He sits in the seat across from me. "About that girl." He closes his eyes and sighs. "I first saw her when..."

*flashback*

I turned around and saw Steve. He had a smirk on his face. "Good job." He walked towards me until we were a foot or so apart. "Care to give it back?" I looked at him with no emotion. "No." I said simply. I turned to walk out but I felt a yank on my bag. I turned and saw Steve holding the bag. I reached for it but missed. "Look Steve I'm not going to play your games. Give it back and we won't have to do it the hard way." I said sternly. He wasn't scared and I don't know why. He should have been terrified. He put the bag in his other hand and reached behind his back to pull out his shield. "I want to do this the hard way." He slightly narrowed his eyes and clenched his jaw. I smirked, "you asked for it."

*flashback over*

"And then we began to fight." He sighs. "I got her and held her prisoner until she agreed to help us in getting the Tesseract back. She did and began to help us." He looks down at his hands. "We lost her in a mission, three months back. And I've never seen her since." I stare at him for a while before I speak again. "What do you think would happen if you saw her again? What would you do Captain?" He looks up at me quickly. I see a smile spread across his face, "I think if be the happiest man alive." I want to smile too but then it quickly fades. Did I call him Captain? I see him staring at me. "Is something wrong?" He asks me. "No it's just-" I can't go on. I take a deep breath and stand up. I walk towards the door and stop. "Where are going?" He comes up next to me. "I'm going home." I answer. "But why? Aren't there anymore questions you want to ask me?" I lift my head and stare at the door. "No. No more questions." I open the door but he closes it with his hand. I turn my head towards him abruptly. "What's wrong?" He demands. His voice is low and calm. "I just," I take a deep breath and look down at my feet. "I thought you would remember me." I whisper. With that I walk out of his room and out of SHIELD HQ.

When I reach the apartment I shut the door and take of my disguise. I sit down on the couch, prop up my elbows on my knees, and bury my face in my hands. "You ok?" I look up and see Bucky. "Yeah I'm fine I just-" I sigh loudly and bury my face in my hands again. "You know I actually thought he would recognize me." I whisper, lifting up my head. He sighs and takes a seat next to me. "It's ok, you were wearing a disguise that's probably why." I close my eyes and try and relax. "It's just, he wasn't so exited to see me." I whisper. "He didn't know it was you ok? You had on a disguise, and you didn't say anything to give you away. Besides he was probably thinking about you that he didn't realize that you were right in front of him." He explains. He does have a good point. I get up and walk into the kitchen. I look through the window and see something in the sky. It looks like a blimp. But when I look closer I realize it's not a blimp. It's a bomb. My eyes widen and I run to Bucky. I grab his arm and pull him out of the apartment. "What's going on?" He asks. "There's a bomb heading strait for the apartment!" I explain running down the street. I have no idea where we are going, until I hear gunshots. I stop and turn to see where they were coming from. Mike. I turn and keep running. Running past buildings as I hear the bullets escaping the gun. Me and Bucky run deep into a forest and stop to catch our breaths. "What- was- that?" He asks between breaths. "Mike." I pant. "Who's mike?" He says finally getting his breath back. "He's a guy I met on a mission. He doesn't like me" he looks up at me. "Really I couldn't tell, I thought he liked you." I playfully slap his arm. We hear rustling. Behind us, then to the right. Then to the left, and in the front. Me and Bucky get back to back ready to hurt- or even kill- anyone trying to attack us. I turn to see that Bucky is gone. I turn back around and see that the forest it also gone. Everything is slowly fading away. I look down at my hands and feet. They're disappearing too. I start to run but I can't. It hurts. Everything hurts. I fall to the ground, and lay there. I take my last breath, and then everything
