Chapter 7: Lexy's POV:

We leave  the class room together, leaving out friend's there as we walk together.
"So who's your maths teacher?"I ask him.
"My maths teacher is Mr Morgen."He tells.
"Same,"I smile.
"Cool."He nods.
"So are your friend or brother in this class?"I ask looking for conversation.
"Yeah and no. James is Luke isn't ."He smiles.
Once again OMG his smile.
"So how are you enjoying Australia?"He asks.
"It's good, hot but good."I smiles.
"Yeah it is hot. They should band people like me from here, it's hot enough without me."He jokes..
"That means they have to band your brother too."I laugh.
"Yeah, well we may look the same but we're not."He says, stopping outside the door.
"I guessed, you more, I don't know. nicer."I say.
"Thanks."He smiles.
We walk in and sot down on different tables on different sides of the class room. Then Rose came in with James not to far behind her, she looks at me and smiles and I smile back, she sits by me.
"Where did you go? You just walked off with Jai and I was like what?"She wonders.
"Sorry I should of told you. I don't know what happened we just walked off."I apologises.
"It's okay."She smiles.
Then the teacher passes  papers out.
"Fractions."I read from the top of the page.
"I can't do them."Says Rose.
"Same."I smile.
We writ them out and I put down random numbers. I look up to see James and Jai just laying back it thaie chairs chatting, I smile.
Then the teacher went over to them.
"Jai, James. We been in lesson for twenty minutes and you did one."He says.
"Well James did one. I just writ it down."Jai answers.
I can't believe he corrected the teacher.
"James, Jai detention."He says.
"What, no sir. You can't do that I have things to do at dinner."James says.
"Like what?"He questiones
"Nothing."He says .
*5 minutes later*
Well there is ten more minutes till dinner. I'm finishing failing maths when a rolled up bit of paper hit me for the second time today. I look up and looknaround, seeing Jai looking my way our eyes meet and I look away quickly.
I open the paper.
"Hey it's Jai, can you tell Luke we got detention at dinner, Please."I read in my head.
I show it to Rose, I tuned it over and wrote on it, I throw it back, the teacher caught me, I smile.
"Lexy! Was that you?"He asks.
I panicked, I know this sounds weird but I never got told off in school before.
"No sir it wasn't me."I say.
"Don't lie, tell me the truth,"He says.
I look down not sure what to say.
"Right another detention, lunch."He says .
"What."I gasp.
"Now you talk."He says, walking back to his desk.
I look at Rose.
"It be fine, I'll tell Luke."She says.
I smile and lay back in my chair. Then the bell goes and me, James and Jai just stayed put.
Rose gave me a smile and I look down.
"Okay, all of you at the front."He says after the class is empty.
So we all get up and take a seat at the front. The teacher turnes his chair to face to bored and not us.
James put his head on the table, I think he's  going to sleep, Jai is drawing on his arms.
I just sit there like a lemon looking around.
*7 minutes later*
Been here for seven minutes now, Jai looks at me I look  at him, he looks at James and I look and James. We were trying not to laugh at the silence, I let out a small giggle and the teacher turns around.
I sit there acting like nothing happened, we sit there for another three minutes then he said we can go, so we got up and left.

Jai's POV:
We walk out of the class room without telling are friends or in my case my brother and James.  We're  walking down the corridor.
"So. Who's your maths teacher?"Lexy asks me with a cute smile.
"Well my maths teacher is Mr Morgen."I tell  her.
"Same,"She smiles.
"Cool."I reply.
"So are your friend or brother in this class?"She asks.
"Yeah and no. James is Luke is not,"I smile.
"So, how are you enjoying Australia?"I ask her.
"It's good hot but good."She smiles.
I don't know if we're friends enough for me to say this but I am anyway.
"Yeah it is hot, they should band people like me from here. It's hot enough without me."I joke.
"That means they have to band your brother too."She laughs.
I made her laugh.
"Yeah, well we may look the same but we're not."I say stopping outside the class room.
"I guessed you more, I don't know. nicer."She adds.
"Thanks."I smile, not sure what to say.
We walk in and we go to our tables in different parts of the class room.
Then James and Rose come in. James walks over to me and sat down by me.
"Where did you go, you were there one moment and the other you weren't"He says
"Sorry, I walked with Lexy."I say.
"Oh, you know her name."He smiles.
"Yeah I do."I say.
"You want her."He smiles.
"No I don't."I answer .
I look away and look around the class.
Lexy  and Rose are chatting.  The teacher gives out papers.
"Fractions, No."I moan.
"I know, I don't like them.  Man up."Laughes James.
"Let's do this."I say.
We high five, randomly and write the first one out in to our books.
"Okay.I am done."I say sitting back.
"Yep same."Nods James.
I look at James, he answered the first one, I just write it down.
We're chatting about stuff, when.
"Jai, James. We been in lesson for 20 minutes and you did one."He points out.
"Well James did one. I just write it down."I smile.
"James, Jai detention."The teacher gives .
"What, no sir. You can't do that I have things to do at dinner."James says.
"Like what?"He asks.
"Nothing."He says.
He was going to check out the cheerleaders.
I sit there, I need someone to tell Luke.
So I tear a peice of paper out of the back of the red maths book.
I write on it and thow it to Lexy, when the teacher wasn't looking.
She looks up and looks around, she sees me looking her way, our  eyes meet and she looks away quickly and I look down awkwardly.
She shows it to Rose and she throws it back but the teacher caught her.
She smile innocently.
The teacher asks if it was her, she looks down a bit then back up.
"No sir it wasn't me."She lies.
"Don't lie, tell me the truth,"He said.
She looked back down.
"Right another detention, dinner."He says
"What."She gasps.
"Now you talk."He says.
He is a right dickhead, I hate him. She looked at Rose and she says something.
The bell just went for dinner, everyone gets  up excepted me, James and Lexy we just stay put.
"Okay ,all of you at the front."The teacher says.
So we all get up and go to the front and sit down in a row.
The teacher turns his chair to face to bored.
James puts his head on the table, like he does when he has detention.
I draw on my arm's, as soon as I get out of school, I'm  getting tattoos.
Lexy is just sitting there, she looks like she doesn't know what to do.

We've  been here for a long 7-8 minutes now, I look at Lexy, she looksnat me, I look at James and then so does Lexy. The silence is always funny.
She just let out a small giggle and the teacher turns around.
She just sirs there like nothing happened.
*3 minutes later*
"Okay ,you can all go."He allows.
