Chapter 6:Lexy's POV:

We walk out of the canteen and into the hustling bustling corridors.
"This is my fist English lesson."I bring up.
"Who's your teacher?"Asks Rose.
"Miss Thomas."I tell.
"Cool you're in my class."She smiles.
"Is there any free seats?"I ask.
"Um..Yeah. Two one by Jack Peters, he is a bit of a dickhead,"Rose informs me.
I look at her not expecting her to talk like that.
"And there is one by Jai."She smilee.
"Jai?"I ask.
"Yeah the twin, Jai Brooks."She clarifies.
"Should I sit by him?"I ask.
"It be better and safer, he normally just listens to music secretly or draws on his paper. If your lucky he will writ a paragraph. "She tells me.
"Yeah, I'll sit by Jai." I says.
"Good idea."She nods.
We walk in, I introduce myself and she gives me a book.
"Go and sit down in one of the spear chairs." The teacher says..
I look around to see Jai, Luke and James are in this class and that they're  on time. I then walk over to Jai's table.
"Hi, is it okay if I sit here?"I ask with a friendly smile.
"Yeah sure."He says, moving his bag off the chair.
I set my bag down on the floor by my chair and get my pen out of my bag. I writ on the front of my book and  look around the class,waiting for the teacher to start.
Luke and James are looking over at us. They're smiling at us. I look at Jai he mouths something, I couldn't make it out.
I smile and look down at my book.
"Okay. Do any of you know if, Marie Parker is here today or Justin Martins?"Asks the teacher.
I  put my had up, as I realised no one else is going to.
"Yes Lexy ?"She asks.
"Um, Marie isn't' here."I smile shyly.
"Okay, thank you."She says.
"Justin isn't here."Says a boy, from the back.
She nods and starts on English.
"Okay, new topic today is, Romeo and Juliet."She sniles as she writes it on the bored.
I lie back in my char sigh.
"What's the matter?"Jai asks me.
"Oh nothing, It's just I hate Romeo and Juliet. They all die at the and it's like what the actual fuck. I watch it when I was in my old house."I tell him.
He lookes at me like did she just say the F word.
"Oh, poor you. Where is home?"He wonders.
"London."I explain .
"That's on the other side of the world, why did you come here?"He questions.
"Oh, I live with my nan now. It just wasn't working out at home. My mum and dad work a lot. It's not fair on me and my sister, Kelly."I tell him.
"Oh, Okay. My name is Jai by the way, Jai Brooks." He smiles.
He has a nice smile, it's cute.
"Well it's nice to meet you Jai, I'm Lexy Benson but feel free to call me Lex."I smile  introducing myself.
Then we get the books and the teacher tells us to read from the start to the end of the lesson, so we did.
"Who talks like this?"Jai asks out the blue.
"They did, It's old English. Nobody talks like that any more."I tell him.
"Oh."He nods .
He stops now and again to ask me what words meant.
"Thus?"He asks.
"This."I tell..
He smiles and got back to the book.
"That is enough for this lesson. We will continue with some work papers next time."Says the teacher.
So we get up and pack up.
"Finally."Jai sighs
"Are you happy the lesson is over, or?"I giggle.
"I'm happy this lesson is over."He says  still smiling.
The bell goes and off we go to our 4th lesson, maths.

Jai's POV:
We walk in to the school and we walk to English class, slowly. She doesn't start till everyone is there.
We walk in to the class room. I sit near the back on my own and Luke and James sit on the table in the middle. Thank god it's not close to my table!
Then Rose and the new girl come in. She's  talking to the teacher,.this is are fist English lesson this week.
She hands her a book and tells her to sit down in one of the spear chair.
So it was either me or the freak. She lookes around and she heades for my table.
"Hi, is it okay if I sit here?"She says with a smile.
"Yeah sure."I say, moving my bag.
She sets her stuff down and sits down. She writes  her name on the front of the blue English book.
I look away from her book and look towards where my brother and James are sitting to see they're sitting there, looking at me with smiles on thair faces.
"Fuck off."I mouth.
I then realise that Lexy saw me do it. I hope she's  not against swearing  but she smiles and looks down.
"Okay. Do any of you now if Marie Parker is hare today, or Justin Martins?"Asks the teacher.
Lexy looks and put her hand up, I look, everyone did.
"Yes Lexy ."She says.
"Um, Marie isn't here."She smiles
"Okay, thank you."She says.
"Justin isn't hare."Sam says, from the back.
She nods and starts on English.
"Okay new topic today is Romeo and Juliet."She says as she writes  it on the bored.
Lexy layed back in her char and sigh. I though if Luke and James already talked to her why can't I?
"What the matter?"I ask.
"Oh nothing, It's just I hate, Romeo and Juliet. They all die at the end it's like what the actual Fuck. I watch it when I was in my old house."She says in a unfamiliar voice.
I'm surprised when she says the F word, o wasn't expecting it. Well she is defiantly not against swearing.
"Oh, poor you. Where is home?"I ask.
"London."She says.
"That's on the other side of the world, why did you come hare?"I ask.
"Oh, I live with my nan now. It just wasn't working out at home. My mum and dad work a lot. It's not fair on me and my sister, Kelly."She tells me.
"Oh, Okay. My name is Jai by the way, Jai Brooks." I smile.
"Well it's nice to meet you, Jai I'm Lexy Branson but feel free to call me Lex."She smiles.
Then the teacher gives out the books ,we get one each.
We have to read from the start to the end of the lesson. So that's what we did.
*10 minutes in to the lesson and 3 pages later.*
"Who talks like this?"I ask  randomly.
"They did, It's old English. Nobody talks like that any more." Lexy points out.
"Oh."I say.
I sometimes stop to ask her what words mean.
"Thus?"I asks.
"This."she tells.
I smile and get back to the book. It is so boring.
"That is enough for this lesson. We will continue with some work papers next time."Teacher says.
So everyone gets up and packs up.
"Finally."I say, pretty loud.
"Are you happy the lesson is over, or?" Lexy giggles.
I smile because I'm a bit embarrassed and I made her giggle.
"I'm happy this lesson is over."I say happily
The bell goes and off we walk to 4th lesson, which  is maths.
