                                              Ponyboy and Johnny were sitting on the Curtis's couch around 3 a.m, talking with the hiss of static coming from the TV. 
                          Johnny had been locked out of his house, and Ponyboy had invited him to stay with him for the night. Darry and Sodapop were asleep, they had work in the morning. Ponyboy was half asleep while Johnny was talking about how life could have been. 
                          Ponyboy knew it was rude but he couldn't stay up, he was drifting off into the silence of the night.
                          "Well, goodnight Pony." Johnny sighed
                          "Hmm, goodnight Johnnycake, I love you," Ponyboy sighed while wrapping his arms around Johnny and trapping him between couch and him.
                          "I-I love you too pony."
