"What is love without a bit pain?" Fairy Godmother, Leena said to Cinderella.
"Yea but how am I suppose to fit into that?" Cinderella said as she pulled the very tight dress out. It was a velvet light blue dress that wouldn't even fit a skeleton. " I cant wear this, no one can," She said throwing it back into the wooden chest.
"Now, now. The ball isn't for at least another month." Leena said as she swung her wand in a circle and poof, there were gym equipment and diet pills all over the room. " Eat nothing but an apple per day."
"I will never survive." Cinderella was buried beneath the bottles of pills.
"Then, you will never be loved, honey," Leena said and with a poof, she was gone.
Cinderella sat on her broken bed as she looked at her picture way back when both her parents were alive. They were rich. Cinderella would get gifts and luxurious food every day and she was living the life in a 3 story bungalow with nothing but love showered to her. Things changed when her mother died out of unseen circumstances and her father remarried a younger but crueler wife.
Her stepmother convinced her father that Cinderella didn't love her father.
Cinderella was thrown out to the streets where she does sell wood for a living but not enough for even a proper meal a day. She eats what she can when she can. Somedays, the baker gives she whatever he can't sell for the day but most of the days it was just porridges with nothing but wild mushrooms. She was already so skinny bones were poking out.
"Well, I guess I got to lose some more weight."She said as she took a handful of the pills.
Over a span of 30 days, Cinderella was now no more than a bag of bones.
She turned around and glanced into her wall-length mirror, something she hadn't done in a very long time. She started at her feet, averting her eyes from her own face. Her feet were bony and thin, like the rest of her body. She let her gaze rise up and she took in her whole body, wincing at the emaciated figure that stared back at her. What had she let herself become? She felt like a hollow shell of her once plump and vibrant self. She had always imagined herself as too big and too plump, even when people told her she wasn't. She stepped onto the scale in front of her and began to weep when she saw the numbers pop up on the screen of the scale...87.2 lbs.
" I am thin and beautiful." She said as Leena once again brought the same dress.
"Honey, your waist is so small. The prince is going to absolutely love you." Leena said as she helped Cinderella into the dress. Soon they left the home in Leena's limo and arriving at the ball a little later 11 pm.
As soon as Cinderella arrived all the eyes were on her. Many asked her hand to dance but she passed everyone and went straight to the price.
"Wanna dance?" She said as the other girls surrounding the Prince stood in awe looking at Cinderella's slender figure.
"No." The Prince said coldly. Frustrated at the rejection, Cinderella did the only thing that was left, she started to dance.
When Cinderella flowed into dance it was as if it were the only way her body truly knew how to speak. Verbally she was guarded, physically she would shrink and fade into the background no matter where she was. On stage her personality, her sensuality burst through into the most vibrant picture of a beautiful soul. For the most part that ancient music machine was her only audience, watching her with those two dusty black eyes. As she turned her eyes caught The prince standing there, him less adept at hiding in the shadows than she. He dropped his eyes momentarily before looking, his head tilted to one side and a hopeful smile playing on his lips
" Follow me to my room?" The Prince offered. He was mesmerized by Cinderella and need to feel her immediately. They sneaked out of the ball into the Prince secret room.
The Prince moved his head closer to Cinderella's. She sits frozen, from both fear and excitement. He leans in, so her foreheads rest against his. They close their eyes. Both their breaths are shaking. "Thank you," she says in barely more than a whisper.
"For what?" He replies, his voice low and husky.
"For this of course." Her voice wavers, exhilarated from the tension between them.
The Prince gently leans in and kisses Cinderella's warms lips. They pull apart and take shaky, shallow breaths. Unable to contain themselves anymore, The Prince holds Cinderella's head in his hands and pulls her into a fiery and passionate kiss. Her hands work their way around his body, feeling each crevasse, each line along his perfect physique.
She lies on her back as he matches her body's form. The Prince'shands venture over her curved body, exploring. They pull apart and open their eyes. They stare at each other, deep into each other's eyes. The Prince 's full of wonder and love, Cinderella's full of curiosity and passion. No words are spoken but a story worthy of them is communicated.Suddenly, The Prince felt a quick yet sharp pain around his lips. He pushed Cinderella away only on see his lips bitten off.
"It has been forever since I taste any meat."She said as she took another big bit of the Prince's hand.
She chewed slowly as the prince yelled for help but no one could hear his screams over the loud music in the ball.
"What are you doing?" The Prince exclaimed.
"I tried so bad to lose weight so I can meet you that I guess I forgot how hungry I really ammmm." She said cornering at the bleeding prince. " No matter, at least I get to eat something nice for a change."
The next morning, only the remains of The Prince was found in his room along with a glass slipper.
