It feels like the earth is the
ocean and I'm drowning in it.

Jason
I walk outside to see Justin in a daze. The smile on my face fades as he appeared to be thinking deeply about something. "Justin?" He snaps his head towards the sound and his eyes meet mine. A grin tugs at his lips and he raises his eyes brows in question. "Yes?" He really didn't notice me here. "What are you thinking about?" I ask as I set a box down. Justin squints his eyes at the box like he's debating whether it's a good time to tell me to move it or not.

He shakes his head before looking at me again. A sigh escaped his lips before he started speaking. "Us. My Life. Why?" I'm pretty sure everyone could hear my heart beating against my rib cage as he mentioned us. "What do you mean us?" I ask calmly, not allowing my emotions to show. A flicker of fear passed through his eyes but he kept his composure. "What are we, Jase?" I thought about the statement and looked him in the eyes. My feet started walking by themselves and they brought me to him, our faces only centimeters apart.

"What do you want us to be?" I'm very curious to know his answer to that question. His nose scrunched as he squinted from looking up at the sun. "I want us to at least be friends." he said barely above a whisper. "At least? Does that mean you'd prefer us to be more than that?" I breathe. His forehead creases into a frown and he nods softly. I sigh and study him for a few seconds. "I need some time, Justin. But I'd still like the fuck you senseless. Might as well call us friends with benefits."

He nods once more before looking back at the box I set down. Irritation flashed through his eyes as he looks back at me. A smile plays at my lips as I pick up the box and turn toward a pouting Justin for instructions. "Put it on top of the box of kitchen utensils, please."

I chuckle and obey his orders. After a while of stacking boxes and contemplating where to put them, we finally sit down on the curb with bottles of water in hand. I thought of some things we could do in the last few hours of daylight. I remember seeing a skateboard in one of his boxes when we picked up his stuff from his house.

"You wanna go to the skate park?" I ask him. He looks at me quizzically as if he's deciding whether I'm joking or not. Did he really think I couldn't skate? "Sure." He finally replies as he stands up and turns towards the house, me doing the same. He goes up to his room as I walk down to the basement where my prize possessions were locked up.

I sat there for a good minute, hearing a small 'woah' escape Justin's lips. I turn to him before turning back to my board. Finally choosing a blind bad cop board, I turn to see Justin's.

I nod in approval before we head back up the steps and down the sidewalk. There are two skateparks nearby but I lead him to the best out of the two. We both work our legs and push our boards. I'm a little shaky on my board from not skating for a long time. I turn my head and look at at Justin who seems to be handling it perfectly fine.

Jokes and random topics were being discussed as we focused on keeping our balance. Minutes pass as we finally make it to Hawthorne Skatepark. Simple but better than the other in many ways. Only a few people were in the park with skateboards, scooters, and bikes. They call it a skatepark but they allow all of these.

May I say Justin is a pro? Yes, I think I should...Justin is a pro. As soon as he got on his board he's grinding rails and doing flips. Heel flips, kick flips, FS 180 kick flips, BS 180 heel flips, etc. Sometimes I'll record his tricks and put it into slow motion to see his feet OFF the board and his hands are grabbing it. Is this kid nuts?

When I thought I was good, grinding, doing nollies, manuals, and ollies. I shake my head as he finishes grinding rail, flipping the board from it's upside down position to where he lands on the grip side. My mouth is wide open in awe as he walks up to me, skateboard tucked under his arm. He waves a hand in my face and I finally shut my mouth.

"How– Wha?– I'm done." I rush out. A musical sound enters my ears as he laughs at my childishness. I shake my head once more and I just now notice the boys around us were cheering. One in particular was looking at him up and down. I quickly intertwine our fingers and pull Justin out of the park, making sure the boy sees. His smirk disappears and he immediately looks away.

Once again, I feel ecstatic as our skin touches. The rest of the day is filled with Justin bragging about his skating skills. It got even better when he wanted to cuddle. I was lying down in the air mattress when he lifts my arm up and lays down next to me, putting my arm in its original spot.

Short? I know.

I've been hit with writers block hard.

My POV
I was writing chapter 13 to "I Am Jason" when I heard a crash. I turn my head only to be met with a brick slamming into my face. I sway in my chair for a second before shaking my head and regaining my composure. I look down to see "Writer's block" written in the brick. Glass from my shattered window surrounded me.
