Your wings already exist.

All you have to do is fly.

Jason and I are now waiting in the security line to go through the metal detectors. Both of our hoods are up, even though nobody knows what Jason looks like. He believes it's best to stay cautious of our surroundings and to always expect the worst. Why? So we're not surprised when anything happens. Sometimes I wonder if he actually gets scared or not. What am I thinking? He's Jason McCann, of course he doesn't.

It is finally our turn, I unzip my jacket and keep my shoes on. Jason and I happen to be TSA approved for Delta. We take our hoods off before emptying our pockets and walking through the metal detector one at a time. My breathing becomes a little heavier as I become nervous. I don't have anything on me but Jason's hood is off and maybe one person knows what he looks like. Thankfully, we both go through with no beeping going off. Jason grabs my phone and keys as well as his own things and we make our way towards the terminal gate.

Things like "Make sure you have your belongings before heading to your gate," are blaring over the speakers in the crowded airport. I listen one more time and try to hold in a laugh. How does someone forget their three children? Jason shakes his head as we come across the waiting area. Our bags are scanned and are now on their way to be put in the storage. Our flight is due to leave in an hour meaning we'd board thirty minutes prior.

"Are you hungry? If so, we have to get something now before we board," Jason states.

I nod my head and we stand up from our seats. My eyes search for a place to eat and I find McDonald's.

"McD's should do fine," I say then start making my way towards it while Jason takes two steps to catch up.

Jason and his damn long legs. I push through some people and step in line. Not many people are here and it is surprising enough to keep my eyebrows raised.

"Hi, what can I get you?" The cashier asks.

"Can I have a McChicken meal with medium fries and a large coke?" I step back to allow Jason to order.

"I'll have a 10-piece nugget meal with large fries and a large Dr. Pepper."

"That'll be 14.57, sir?" she says and bats her eyelashes.

Two things: One, McDonald's at airports is expensive as hell. Two, can this hoe hop off his dick? Jason hands her the money obliviously and takes his receipt. We both move to the other side of the counter for pickup.

"You are a giant," I say as Jason's stomach growls.

He looks down at me with one eyebrow raised over his icy blue eyes.

"You're tall and you eat a shitload."

Realization dawns across his face and he laughs softly while shaking his head.
