TWENTYTHREE|
Everyday I was told, that everyone had someone for them, even if they hadn't found them yet. Lies.... For a long time, I lost hope. Broken relationships and broken dreams...I had thought that all life had to offer was empty Promises. Well...I wasn't wrong, but I sure as hell wasn't right either. There was someone for everyone but what they didn't tell me, was that I wouldn't live to see that person come mine.

Our life had calmed and at that moment we seemed like a family, I wanted it to be real, but nothing ever seemed to go my way. I was at a loss. A black hole had begun to appear in my life, sucking me into an abyss."..Yo, Jin..." My name was being called, I heard it distantly but looked up after hearing the familiar voice.
"Tuwa?! What are you doing here? I thought you went home?" Running around the side of the reception desk, I engulfed her in a hug.
"Things were getting rough, Cat needed some time to herself. It appears I overstayed my welcome in my own home" She frowned as we separated.
"I'm sorry to hear that, why didn't you contact me all this time? I missed hearing your voice"
"From watching you, you and your friends seemed to be doing alright. I apologize I wasn't back sooner. I'm afraid I can no longer be Candy though. It would be awkward after a year you found your cat. I've bought the apartment across from you with the help of some connections so I'll be around you" I smiled and we both walked into the kitchen. I could hear Namjoon's voice as we approached. I knocked on the door frame to announce our presence. Namjoon and another man looked up from where they were having a hushed conversation. He set down his coffee on the counter and jogged over.
"Tuwa! It's good to see you! How was your visit home? Did you catch up with family? You look more tan." We all shared a laugh before she replied.
"It was wonderful, I'm glad to be back here though. I was just telling Jin that I bought the apartment across from his, so we should be seeing each other more often." Her French accent was beginning to show again. It was evident to me that nothing had changed in the last year. That made sense though, she was immortal after all. Namjoon's face suddenly looked surprised and he turned back around to the man he was talking with. Namjoon kept sending me glances that said important conversation, please leave. Getting the hint, I led Tuwa back into the living room. She dropped her backpack on the floor and lied down on the couch. I sat across from her in a plush black armchair.
"This is a nice office you have here. I'm sorry I wasn't here to help you." I scoffed,
"You can't do everything for me you know. I need to be strong on my own" She sighed louder than was necessary and scratched her forehead.
"That doesn't mean I don't want to help you. You'd be surprised how much I hold back from helping all of you actually. In the past year, I've watched the seven of you every chance I could get."
"You did? Wow thank you...Uhm you didn't have to do that though, I am honored that you care about all seven of us though" Tuwa chuckled and sat up on her elbows, facing me.
"Cathex isn't very happy with you though"
"Oh? And why's that?" I leaned forward slightly in my chair out of anticipation.
"You are going against her words. She doesn't want you to lose your life over this sooner than she anticipated. We both want you to live happily with your friends, Jin. But don't forget the sacrifice you made to save them."
"So I'm Jesus then." I stated matter-of-factly.
"In a sense, yes. Minus the religion part, I wouldn't go spreading that around though. You don't exactly need the unwanted attention." She laughed.
