"You can't die! I just got you back!" Becca screamed.
"Listen, " I started.
"No you listen! I was worried about you! Even after you called I was still worried and scared! I don't know exactly what you are, what you've been through,  or what you can do but I don't care. You're my best friend. You're like a sister and I can't lose you again. You're gonna have to stay alive," Becca finished.
"I know. It's going to be so hard and with my family suffering makes it harder not to run back. They need my help but I can't help unless Jace is dead. I still don't know how to beat him. I have to keep moving. I know you want me to stay here but I'm not safe here for very long. Jace will find me again. He knows how to. He has so many different ways. I'll have to keep bouncing pack's, mask my smell, and hide. That won't give me very long though. I havn't been hiding myself here. I need to talk to Gabriel. I need to leave, " I explained. Becca nodded her head knowing that I was right and sat down on the bed. Someone knocked on the door but before anyone could say anything Gabriel popped in and went straight to Becca.
"So how did the youth talk go?" he asked. Becca was quick to reply.
"She has to leave for her own as well as our safety," Becca blurted while nodding her head in my direction. Gabriel look sad but it was probably because of Becca.
"I know a couple good packs. I can call around, " he suggested. I nodded and took the chance to leave these two alone. I let my senses guide me to a river so I could be alone for a bit. I passed a couple wolves along the way but they were to scared to come up to me. I knew it was just my blood and status but sometimes I wish that didn't scare them away. The water was cool which made it all the better. My toes were first in followed by the rest of me. The water was clear and I could easily see the rocks at the bottom. The sun had already retired for the day which left the moon to grace the sky. My legs pushed me up and out of the water so I could look at the sky. The star filled sky reminded me of my home that was so far away. The cool water Noe wrapped around me like a blanket of sadness. I hope I can kill Jace, stay alive,  and save my family before it's too late. I crawled onto the bank and pulled myself to my feet. My black clothing drip while my hands fumbled with my boots to get them back on. I heard other wolves come near and u could smell they were from this pack. I could also pick up on some human so I knew that it must of been Gabriel, Becca, and a few others.
"Come on out, " I ordered. Gabriel was in human form with Becca while teo other wolves stood closely behind. I could tell that they were the beta male and female.
"You are kinda hard to find. Even though we smell you it's like your scent covers the whole territory just to confuse us, " Gabriel said with a smile.
"How do you know that I don't do that on purpose?" I asked playfully whirl letting a sly smirk cross my features.
"You're always some sort of guessing game, " Gabriel complained sounding a little annoyed.
"Well you always seem to find a way to become one of the players that lose the game, " I retorted. I heard Becca cover a laugh with a cough and Gabriel let out a small growl that I couldn't help but laugh at. Even the Betas were trying to contain themselves. I stilled when a rancid smell assaulted my nose. A small that I knew all to well last a rogue. No one else could smell it until they got closer which I guess you could thank my hybrid senses for picking up on it so soon. I instantly hopped up and slightly walked towards the direction of the smell.
"Get Becca to the house. There's rogues near by, " I demanded. Gabriel was quick to order his betas to take Becca back. Within seconds he was shifted and I could tell that he was mind linking. Becca was scared and refuse to go with the wolves.
"Stop! What's going on! I'm not leaving without Gabriel!" she cried out.
"Betas you have to go! They'll hurt you!" I shouted from my position.
"Who?" she questioned loudly but before I could answer multiple rogues jumped out. They tackled the betas and Gabriel. A couple headed for Becca. She was frozen in fear and I was quick to jump in front of her after shifting. Now she seemed speechless as she stepped away from me. I still stood at almost 12 feet which was not average. My dad and brother were 10-11 feet tall like most royal wolves. Gabriel was about 7 foot. I decided to defend Becca and kill the rogues instead of trying to comfort her. A very skinny light brown wolf launched itself at me. I threw my head in its direction. When my head met it's small form I heard many cracks and the wolf hit the ground with more cracks accompanied by a thud. Becca's screams of terror pierced my ears but I focused in on the wolf and wuickly saw that it's life was over. A dark grey wolf with a chocolate wolf came running towards me. The grey one got to me first. It tried to leap over me so it could land on my back but I was quick. My jaws wrapped around it's stomach and pushed my teeth through the skin. I felt the warm blood stream down my snout and neck while the wolf let out a final howl of pain before it let death consume it. The chocolate wolf was smarted and went for my neck. I moved but wasn't quick enough. The wolf sunk it's teeth into my shoulder. The force of its body hitting mine made me stumble. I started to roll. My head turned and grabbed the wolf's leg. I yanked him off. My teeth grabbed his neck. I bite down until I heard a crack then I let his body hit the dirt. The others were fighting. I turned to Becca but she laid passed out on the ground. She probably fainted from fear. I sighed before shifting and picking her up beige reading to the house.
