-Dream-

The clouds clung to graying sky as if restricting the sun to show. A few rogue strays of sunlight gleamed through the fog lighting the cobblestone pathway under my feet. Half of me expected a monster lurking in the shadows to leap out and turn me into Percy Sueflay. No monster ever did as I trudged through the murky shadows clinging to the air and swirling around me.

The monsters never came but an unsettling sensation kept forming in my stomach as soon as it left. It quickly came faster and faster as the path started slowly sinking turning into a swamp of churning ink filled with faces I didn't know. The shadow seemed to swirl faster as my heartbeat picked up. Wind wiped my hair around my face and my sea-green eyes frantically searched the sky looking for something. Anything.

A laugh echoed through the shadows and I wiped my head around searching through the storm squinting my eyes. Again the laugh echoed throughout the shadows and my skull making my brain ache with pain. My hands flew up protecting my face as the wind was mixed with swirling razer sharp pellets of rain.

"Who are you?" I yelled into the wind but the howling sounds drowned in out making it only a whisper. " Who am I? Who am I?!" Echoed back towards me the power of the words making me physically stumble back before it continued. " I'm you of course!" Before me the shadows seemed to reseed into the sky, the wind seemed to turn into a breeze, and the rain completely turned off leaving me standing in the murky water of a swamp.

I stood face to face with another me. few differences were seen. As my eyes seemed to glow with the feeling of joy his eyes literally glowed a sea-green. His hair still windswept like mine still had the grey streak that long left my hair about a year earlier. His orange shirt was ripped as if in war as mine had stayed clean and unripped underneath my hoodie.

"You are me." I whispered disbelief lacing into my voice. The clone like version on me scrunched up his face in distaste. "Well, kind of." He said his voice mimicking mine.

"What do you mean 'Kind of'?"

" I'm everything you tried to forget and are forgetting." He answered. " When you held up the sky." He pointed at the grey streak of hair before pointing at his ripped shirt, " All the wars." Pointing at his lower back he continued, " The Achilles curse." I cringed trying to forget.

" You're doing it again! You're trying to forget!" He pointed at me accusingly and rolled his eyes before giving me a pointed look. " You need to stop that it isn't healthy."

" Like you know." I snorted before rolling my (and I mean not the dream version me) eyes. "I know a lot more than you'd like, Percy." He answered before turning and whispering into the air, " Be careful, Percy! These people don't like to be told no! I advice you to say yes when they ask you to help them out!" His voice echoed back at me several times before disappearing into the strong winds.

My legs started to sway beneath me and black swirled into my vision before closing in suffocating me.

-End dream-

( A/N so I thought about ending here but I didn't so YAY! Read on!!!!)

I blinked trying to clear the white and black spots dancing in and out of my vision. I tried to reach out to rub my eyes only to find I couldn't. As I turned my head I was met with the sight of a dark room and my arms and legs restricted from moving by thick metal like cuffs.

"Where the Tartarus am I?" I whispered in the air making puffs of frozen air dance in the dark room. I heard shifting from one side of the room and quickly turned my head to look what it was but found nothing. I panicked thinking about the invisible beast that injured me earlier that day. Wait how long have I been asleep! I panicked again my heart beating faster and faster thinking of each person who was probably going to kill me for worrying them. Mom, Thalia, Nico, Annabeth... Oh no, no, no! Annabeth! She'll be worried sick and most likely kill me next time I see her.

The door I didn't see earlier creaked open as the invisible monster, well if it was a monster, opened it. I froze scared that it didn't actually leave and would pounce on me any second. "Don't worry it's gone." Echoed throughout the room probably from a speaker hidden in the walls. I visibly relaxed.

The door once more opened revealing a young man with pale white skin, blond hair, and pale milky eyes. "How was your rest? Terrible I suppose?" The man asked. "Who are you?!" I asked my second time today.

The man cleared his throat before clasping his hands behind his back standing up straighter than needed. " My name is Wilson Crow." He held out his hand. When I made no move to shake it his eyes traveled down to my wrist pulled down by cuffs before dropping his hand.

" You have a very intriguing background history, Perseus. Did you know that?" I didn't say anything not trusting the man. " Blowing up a school bus, letting your class take a dip in a swimming pool filled with sharks, blowing up a volcano? Very impressive!" He clapped his hands before continuing, " Now why don't I tell you a little something."

The man set heavily down into a metal chair crossing his arms over his chest. " You're peculiar, Percy." He stated. I gave him a blank look that made him roll his eyes before explaining. " Your type of people are called Peculiar. They get powers not only by genetics but it can also start manifesting later in life, giving you powers. You're one of them. Power over water correct?" I nodded my head not wanting to correct him on the whole peculiar thing. It's not like I could just tell a random kidnapper about the greek world of gods and monsters!

" The type of people we are, wights and Hollows, we want to get rid of your type of people." I paled thinking of being killed not able to say goodbye. " Know, before think you're going to get killed I'm going to tell you something. " He paused to take a breath. " We aren't going to kill you because you're different. Stronger than those weak Peculiars. We want you to help us out. Are you in?" I stared at him incredulously.

        " What exactly are wights?"

He sighed before answering, " Wights are people like me. A Hollow who got what they wanted."

" A Hollow? What did you want?" I questioned tensely. " A Hollow is one of those monsters you can't see. I was once a Hollow and got enough Peculiar soul to turn me back to human. Almost." I stared at him before asking the dumbest thing ever. " So, like, is there a way  I could possibly be able to see them?"

Wilson stared at me blankly as if deciding what was stupider the question or me myself. " I guess there would be a way but it's too dangerous. Now are you in or are you out?" I didn't feel like I had a choice. Remembering the words of my clone like version of me I nodded mutely. I was scared of my answer.

   Fate is cruel, I decided.

It gives me the cruelest decisions.

Thanks so much for reading! I can't believe I updated two days in a row!
