I pulled the keyboard toward me and started typing. A few new screens popped up and I continued to get past the security system. Soon enough, I had successfully hacked into the system and we were able to look into the cameras. A small smile spread across my face as Pidge came over to the computer in awe. She started squealing like an animal and picked up the computer.
She ran out of her room as I followed her, unsure of why she was so excited. She ran into the common room and asked Allura, who was already in there, to call the others in. After five minutes of waiting, all the paladins had gotten into the room and were watching the over excited Pidge plug in her computer to the screen before us. After a few minutes, the computer was hooked up and was showing the camera footage live.
"Keith was able to hack into the security cameras in the main headquarters! We can now see what the Galra are doing 24/7!"
The others were taken back at her statement but soon recovered. They started celebrating and clapping me on the back saying encouraging things. I almost cried during this.I had never gotten recognition or been congratulated by other people before, it was a completely new feeling. I loved it. Pidge started to ask me questions on how I did it
"What kind of system did you use to hack in? What did I do wrong? How did you know about the extra firewall that I missed? Where did you learn to use technology like that?"
Shiro pulled her away before I could answer any of her questions and gave me an apologetic face
"Sorry, Pidge tends to get a little extreme when it comes to technology she doesn't know."
I nodded. I was perfectly fine with all the questions she asked, Pidge was as inquisitive as me.Pidge squirmed in Shiros grip and tried to free herself. Finally, she bit Shiros hand making him drop her. Pidge grabbed my hand and pulled me back to her room. She shoved about ten other computers in my face and I smiled. I started to get my hack on (a/n I'm so sorry).

The next two days were spent in Pidges room on the computers trying to figure out different battle strategies and gaining access to different types of Galra information. We only ate these things called Cheetos and soda while occasionally eating something called gummy bears.
It was strange, I had never felt such joy while on the Galra ship and never had anyone else to talk to, but now I was constantly bombarded with conversations from varying people with different subjects. It was nice.
After Pidge and I finished with all the techy stuff, we just sat around and talked. For all the rest of the paladins knew, we were still getting into the Galras security system, they weren't allowed to bother us.
"So, gender?"
I just realized how gender neutral I looked, wow, new info am I right.
"Hmm, I don't know, I mean I'm genetically a boy but I could be considered a girl. On the ship I was on, I was treated like a slave, and sent to work only inside the ships. I trained in secret thanks to an old friend, but he died so I had to keep training on my own. I had to help with making clothes at the back of our ships, had to plan parties, had to style hair for the prestigious people coming, and god it was so annoying. Uh, I guess I could be both, it doesn't really matter to me either way."After my long explanation Pidge seemed to be in awe
"What gender are you?"
I asked. Pidge put on a face that just said 'at this moment, I knew I fucked up'.
"Well, I'm a girl but a lot of people mistake me as a boy for some reason, I'm thinking that I should tell the rest of the team about my gender but I'm not sure how... I got an idea! You could help me! We could plan a party and you could help me dress up to show the rest of the team that I'm a girl! It would be perfect! Will you help me please?"Pidge gave me the cutest face while making her eyes about ten times bigger. I gave in
"Fine, I'll help, but I'm not doing this alone, you have to help me."
"Deal"
Pidge stretches out her hand and I took it. We would make our debut in one month.——-
The next few days, me and Pidge were inseparable. Everyday we would spend in either my or Pidges room, only leaving when we had to eat or train, and even then we didn't leave each other's side. After about a week of this the others started getting worried.
"Hey, Keith, Pidge, can I talk to you?"
Shiro walked up to us at the end of our training session.
"Sure, what's up Shiro?"
Pidge asked while wiping her face with a towel.
"Well, I just wanted to make sure you two were okay because we haven't seen you in the past week except for a few situations. You guys seem to be hiding something and I'm not going to pry, but I need to know that the green paladin and red paladin are okay."
Pidge and I shared a look then burst out laughing.Shiro gave us a strange look but before he could ask Pidge was already talking
"Look- I know you are worried about us but there's no need. We're perfectly fine, in fact, I think I'm even better than before."
She was right. Pidge seemed stronger, healthier, and happier despite the fact that we were only eating random snacks from Earth found around her room."Yeah, I guess you're right. But, just, don't spend all day in your room, everyone wants to get to know you more and talk to you, so come out more often."
We nodded while still sustaining our laughs and left to continue our plans. When we got to Pidges room we sat down on her bed next to the open computers displaying different foods and dresses.
"We probably should go out more, the others might get suspicious about us spending so much time together."Pidge said while opening a laptop and inserting a flash drive.
"Yeah, we probably should."
We stayed silent for about thirty minutes while finishing up projects concerning the party. Pidge broke the silence
"Hey, do you have a crush on anyone?"
My eyes snapped up from my computer and I felt my face flushed bright red. Pidge smirked"Ooh~ Who is it?"
My face grew even more red as I stuttered out a sentence
"Well- uh, you see, I don't, but I-"
"It's okay, I won't tell anyone if you tell me who it is"I gulped.
My mind couldn't stop thinking about the pretty tan skinned boy with bright blue eyes and the softest chocolate brown hair. Lance, god why do I like him? It doesn't make any sense, I don't even know him that well, yet whenever I think about him my heart beat picks up and my face turns as red as the sunset. He probably doesn't even like me, but I can't stop liking him.
"I- I guess Lance"
"*gasp* no way! This is perfect! OMG KLANCE IS CANON!"
What? I thought. What was Klance? I didn't know anyone named Klance, weird humans.
