Love Blossoms

Chapter 26

She looked at me with a smile. She then went back to cooking. I went back to my work. In a couple of hours our family will here for this dinner. I couldn't help but smile seeing her still blush. She is beautiful.

When I got done I went and helped Flora with what was left. I got the table ready for us. I then heard the door. It must be one of our family. I went to answer the door. Standing there was Rose and Miele.

"Come on in." I said letting them in.

"I made dessert." Rose said handing me dish.

"Thanks. Flora is in the kitchen." I told them.

We headed to the kitchen. I put the plate away, so we can keep it fresh for later. They gave Flora a hug. We then talked for a bit. Then we heard the door again. That will be my parents. I went over to let them in.

"I smell amazing in here." My father said when he entered the kitchen to see Flora.

"Thanks. Dinner will be done soon." Flora told them.

"What does the amazing chef have for us tonight?" My mother asked me.

"Bucatini with winter pesto and sweet potatoes. Also, a side salad to with it." Flora told us all.

When the food was done we, all went to table to enjoy it. It all looked great. Flora did a great job. I wanted to help but she wanted to cook this meal. So, I helped in the small stuff.

"So, Flora, Helia told us you are a teacher at Alfea. What do you like do that?" My mother asked her.

*Flora's POV*

"Yeah, I love it there. All the students are amazing. Ready to learn and see what they can do." I told her.

We talked a while about my work and everything. Then I changed the subject to Helia. I was telling them about how Helia sold some of his work. They were proud of him. So, was I. Everything was going perfectly. Everyone loved my mother's dessert.

We everyone left I went to the table to grade some papers of the students I need to finish. Helia was in the kitchen finishing up cleaning from dinner. Because I did the cooking. He wanted to help in some away. So, he took most of the cleaning. Which I did offer to help. But he won't let me.

"You most done?" Helia asked coming behind me.

"Yeah. A few more left." I told him.

"Okay. I am done with the cleaning. I am heading to be. Join when you are done." He said to me.

"Deal. I will be there soon." I said to him.

He then left me to finish my last few papers to grade. When I did get done I headed to bed. I see Helia there reading a book. I got changed and joined in bed. I putted up the book I was almost done with. I love these nights where we are just relaxing after a nice day.
