~Even Darkness~
Even Darkness must
give in to light
When the glow
undermines his mightEven light must
give in to the breeze
Let her bring
pale light to her kneesEven the breeze must
fall to the hail
She lies bleeding, painted
a stark paleWatch the hail bow
down to his sun
Retire to his graves
and become undoneEven the sun must
bow to the clouds
Laughing an earthy sound
lightning so loud"Mercy!" They shout when
clouds bleed of rain
Mirror screams
of the sun's painSee the rain wither in
the name of the cold
Where it freezes white
and cries a story untoldEven the cold must bow down to
her mistress of fire
Sleeping in the ground
hide from her ireEven fire must flee
the whisper of human breath
Sweating the last of her embers
whisper her ash, follow deathMan falls to his feet when
darkness descends
Two crossroads diverge
where beginning meets the end
