~Scarlett~

"Do you remember when we dyed Mrs. Norris's fur hot pink?!" George laughed.
"Oh yes!" I joined.
"Filch was livid!" Fred chuckled.
"He was redder than your hair!" I stated.
"I thought we were going to die that day," George said through his laughs.
"Oh! Do you remember—"

"Hey Fred, Dear?!" Molly's voice came from downstairs.
"Yeah, Mum?!" Fred called back.
"Can you and Scarlett come down here for a second?!" Molly asked.
"Be right there!" Fred said.

Fred grabbed my hand, pulling me up and out of the room. I could feel my cheeks heat up as he held my hand. Ginny winked at me when we entered the kitchen, eyeing Fred and I's hands with a grin.

"Perfect, I need you two to make a quick trip outside," Molly stated.
"Sure," I nodded with a smile.
"We have a blackberry bush a little ways into the woods – Fred knows where it is – and I didn't want to send him alone. But I didn't want to have you wait on the twins so I figured you two could go?" Molly asked.
"Yeah, of course," I grinned, elbowing Fred in the stomach when I noticed his scowl.
"Oi!" Fred groaned, clutching his stomach.
"She's your Mum, now go," I stated, pointing to the door.

Fred sighed but led the way out, leading me into the woods. The sun was shining bright, and the trees only blocked a little bit of light, casting shadows on the ground. Flowers were scattered everywhere, and squirrels and birds could be seen here and there.

"I love being outside," I grinned.
"Trust me I know," Fred breathed.
"Fred, I only dragged you outside once," I stated.
"In the middle of the night," Fred grumbled.
"I wanted to see the stars, alright?" I laughed.

I laughed a little longer before I realized Fred hadn't responded. Looking up, I realized he was staring at me.

"Fred?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow at him.

Fred's eyes flickered to my lips, to my eyes, and back to my lips.

"Fred?" I repeated, waving a hand in front of his face.
"Huh? Oh! Sorry, I, uh, zoned out." He cleared his throat awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. A light blush spread across his cheeks and the tips of his ears matched the light pink color. "We should continue looking for those berries."

I stared at him with raised eyebrows for a second before nodding slowly.

Fred cleared his throat again before leading the way again. But the whole time he was glancing back at me. First it was just every few minutes he'd glance back for a second, but he was looking back and staring at me at this point. I continuously had to remind him to keep going.

"Fred, are you sure you're okay?" I asked for the millionth time.

Fred glanced back, opening his mouth to respond, but froze. His eyes were locked on my lips. I could see he was chewing the inside of his cheek.

"I'm fine," He nodded unconvincingly.
"Sure," I rolled my eyes. "What's going on?"

Fred sighed, looking between the ground, me, and my lips. His eyes finally landed on my lips, not flickering for a second as he pushed his own against mine. I couldn't even respond before he pulled back, looking anywhere but at me. It was so quick you could've missed it by blinking.
