Tomorrow was the night. The last night you're seen as a kid before becoming independent adults. The night where if you do something stupid, you won't be allowed to graduate.
Michael and Gavin were currently laying in Michael's bed, both wide awake, unable to get to sleep. Both had mixed feelings about tomorrow. Both were scared and excited and depressed all at once.
Gavin had his head resting on Michael's chest so he could hear how fast the jersey males heart was pounding. It was safe to say Gavin's heart was beating just as fast.
"Tomorrow is the night huh..?" Gavin looked up at Michael and nodded.
"It's come so fast. I can't believe we're almost done this part of our lives." Gavin sighed.
"Yeah...you know as much as I really wanted to get the hell out of highschool...I'm going to miss it." Michael admitted with a slight frown. Gavin nodded again then kissed Michael's cheek.
"There was definitely some days that didn't feel like highschool. Those are ones I'll miss." Gavin says.
Michael nodded then yawned softly and pulled Gavin impossibly closer to himself. Gavin draped an arm over Michael's bare chest and felt himself start to be lulled to sleep.
Michael looked down at Gavin and couldn't help but smile at how peaceful his British boyfriend looked in his sleep. He still couldn't get over how lucky he was to have Gavin in his life. How Gavin could have anyone he wanted and he chose Michael.
Michael looked at their intertwined fingers, looking at the promise rings he bought for the two of them. He knew Gavin would like it especially because of the engravings. The pair were both huge fans of gaming and whenever they played, Michael would always be player one and Gavin would always be player two. It felt right that the engravings on the promise rings were referencing their lives.
Michael kissed Gavin's forehead before finally giving into the need for sleep and let his eyes flutter shut and his chest started to slowly rise and fall in sync with Gavin as the couple slept.
Sorry I meant to update sooner but I got distracted with Monster Prom. I need to get Damien's secret endings okay? Speaking of monster prom for now instead of a Grevor/Travin fic after this fic, I'm going to start a monster prom fic (Damien x Genderfluid!Oz)
