Halt stood there for a moment considering what to say.
"What makes you say that?" That is all Halt could say. James looked at him for a moment then moved his gaze to the body.
"It happened last night, I happened to be up at the time. I was walking down the hall when I heard the banging of swords clashing upon one another. I went out to the courtyard to see what was going on when I saw one of the second-year nights fighting a man in a black cloak. At first, I thought they were sparing, then before I could react the man in the cloak made one final thrust killed the young night. I yelled at the man and drew my sword, but the man lifted his hand and a wall of fire erupted right in front of me and it threw me back and I blacked out."
Halt just stood there for a moment his face as emotionless as ever.
"And you think it was sorcery?" Halt asked.
"I don't know what I saw, but some strange things have been happening lately, very strange things.

The earthquakes kept coming on and off. Halt walking down the hall when one of the earthquakes hit, the castle shook violently. Halt fell to the floor with the violent shaking. At that moment Halt heard glass shatter in the room where the little girl was. no Halt thought as he slowly made his way into the room. Halt stumbled in to find the girl sitting on the ground crying. Halt went over to her and raped his arms around the crying girl just as the tower collapsed with Halt and the girl inside it.
