The World Kept Crashing Down

Chapter 1 - New

Ada's POV:

  I can't believe I'm already coming back to highschool after what happened two years ago. My mom is seriously crazy about me getting my education in before I grow up. It's getting late, I better head off to the car.

Narrator:
 
  Ada's mother calls for her to the car. "ADALIENE, COME ON, LETS GO PLEASE!" she yelled up the stairs. "Coming!" Ada grabs her phone and runs out the door into the car. They sit in silence for what seems like forever until her mom breaks the silence. "So..are you ready to start over?" Ada stared at her, "start over?.." she answered blankly. "Yes Ada, start over. Without your father or having..issues." Ada turned her head and stared out the window. She hesitated before answering. "Um. No.. I'm not. I don't know what's gonna happen. Mom, I'm not ready to be the 'new kid' again, I don't want years and years of the same shit." "I suggest you watch you're tongue." she hissed. Ada crossed her arms and breathed heavy.

At School

"Bye honey, I love you." Ada rolled her eyes. "Mom, you know I love you too." She walked in through the doors and went to what seemed like the secretary. She coughed, trying to get them to pay attention to her and not the computers. The one secretary looked up and sighed, "yes?" Ada glanced down at her hands and nervously spoke, "Hi, I'm Ada. Ada Wells? I'm new here and I um, I'd like my schedule please." The woman handed her a yellow paper with her name at the top. "Take a left and your classes should be in room 278, with pod H." Ada nodded and walked away to ,her classroom. She sat at the desk nearest to the door, she wanted to leave as soon as the bell rang for her next class. She was busy tapping her pencil to her desk as a hand was put down in front of her. She jumped, looking up seeing a light skinned boy with dark shaggy brown hair and emerald eyes. "Hey, sorry to bother you, but we have assigned seats, this one here is mine." he softly said as he smiled laughing. Ada stared at him for a moment and suddenly got up gathering her things. "Oh, I'm really sorry, I didn't know, I didn't bother to ask.." her voice drifted off. "Hey, no worries! I'm Tyler. Tyler Goodsworth. And you are..?" "Adaliene- Uh- Ada! Its my nickname, most people call me Ada. Ada Wells." He smiled and nodded, "Suits you." The bell rang and all the kids were headed out the classroom door. Ada stood in the middle of the room staring at her schedule. "English..274.." she squinted around the halls. "Humm, here?" She walked in room 274 and looked at all the kids she didn't know. She spotted a familiar haircut she saw a moment ago. Tyler? She walked toward him and hoped it was him, sure enough it was, she recognized his laugh from before. "Good to meet you again Tyler, you have any clue where I sit by any chance?" he spun around and laughed. "Sure I do, next to me if you don't mind." She shook her head and sat down. "You seem like a shy person, what's the deal? Why come here?" Ada looks down at her desk, nervous to answer that question. 'Why come here?' He noticed. "Hey, I'm sorry, I didn't-" "No, it's okay, I just. I'd rather stay away from that question.." He nodded.
