We can't just keep her here!
Wayne! It isn't her fault! She didn't climb on the stage herself- and did you see the welt on her head? She might have a concussion!
Just take her to a hospital then! Dan, we're no doctors!
We don't have time Wayne! Our next concert is tomorrow!I sit up and my hand flies to the back of my head. I feel a bump and it's throbbing. I look at my surroundings. Messy room-small, 2 bunk beds on the side walls. One bed in the center, the one I'm which I spent the night.
"Where am I?" I think.
I swing my legs out of the bed and walk out the door. I walk into a kitchen area where 2 men are sitting with their backs to me. One turns arounds, and I feel lightheaded again. My legs give out and my butt plummets to the floor.
"W-Wayne?!" I say.
"Dan, she's awake." he says.
"Hey! Are you okay? Don't faint again." Dan says.
Dan Reynolds and Wayne Sermon are standing I'm front of me.
"I-I...what-what's going on-where am I? I blubber.
That's seriously the first thing I said to my idols?
"Well you blacked out last night and hit your head, so we took you back to the tour bus and here you are." Dan says nonchalantly.
"Okay. Let me get this straight. You took me- of all people into your tour bus for a sleepover?" I say.
"What else were we supposed to do?" Dan says.
"...take her to hospital" Wayne whispers under his breath.
" I heard that, ya know." I said disapprovingly.
He just rolls his eyes. Man, I thought Wayne Sermon would be a bit more welcoming. Then again, I'm a inconvenience.
"So, what's your name?" Dan asks, trying to change the subject.
"Shailyn." I say.
"Alright, Shailyn, let's get you some ice for that welt." Dan says.
"Thanks, but I should really get going. My friend is probably wondering where I am." I say.
"...about that...You left your on the stage last night, and I took it back here, and your friend Lin?"
"Len." I say
"Sorry, Len. Well she was asking if you were ok, and I said you were fine, just that you possibly had a concussion."
"So you took my phone and texted my friend. Wait how did you even figure out the password?"
"Shailyn, you password is the typical password. 0000."
"Dan we have to go now. Next venue is 7 hours away." Wayne says.
"Wanna come?" Dan says.
Is he serious? I want to go so bad but I can't! He just feels bad for me. A girl with an ugly bump on her head, who was thrown onto stage with tears on her face and faints in front of 50,000 people! He definitely pities me.
"Really?" I blurt.
"Sure, I mean where else would you go?" Dan says.
"Home..." I say.
"Let's go on an adventure! Ok now you have no choice! You're coming!" He says excitedly.
He pats me on the shoulder and I probably look like I just got shot. I walk into my room and sit on the bed. I have so many questions, but the one that dominates amongst all of them isWhy me?
