Blue eyes stare me in the face as I open my eyes. I notice the whole room is shaking, but my shoulders are being thrusted. Dan.
"What are you doing?" I ask groggily.
"We are at the venue! Get up!" He says in a overflowing attractive voice.
Ok, so this wasn't a dream.
I walk to the tiny tour bus bathroom and look at myself in the mirror. O god, I think. My dirty blonde hair is in a tangled mess, and dark circles surround my eyes. I'm still wearing the clothes from the concert, and I reek. I brush my hair with the only hairbrush on the counter. It hurts to pull my hair, and I wince at every tug. I take some mascara out of my purse and put it on. I dig for perfume and find some-Pristine French. When I was doing my last mirror checks, I realize I forgot about Alfred. I dial Len frantically and she picks up.
"Len! I forgot about Alfred and I left him in his cage oh my god Len please check on him!"
"Shai, calm down, I went over to your place and let him out. But you weren't there. Where are you?"
" Len this is crazy and you probably think I'm crazy but Dan Reynolds invited me to come to his concert in Raleigh. And I'm here. And I'm in Imagine Dragons tour bus."
"So let me get this straight. You drove from Philadelphia to Raleigh in IMAGINE DRAGONS FUCKING TOURBUS??!"
"...yes"
"Shai, stop lying. Where are you? I'm getting scared!"
Dan walked into the bathroom and said it's time to go.
"Hold on." I whispered to him.
"Who are you talking to Shailyn?!"
Before I could answer, Dan grabbed my phone out of my phone.
"Hey Len, Shailyn is just gonna come to the venue with me and the band, seriously, she's ok." Dan said happily.
He exchanged a few more words with Len and hung up.
"She's never gonna stop talking about this" I told him.
"What?" Dan asked.
"Her and Dan Reynolds just had a conversation." I said.
"You don't seem too "rabid fan" around me."
"I guess I'm doing a pretty good job of concealing it.-and I'm not rabid."
"Shailyn, please don't think of me as Dan Reynolds: Lead Singer Of Imagine Dragons. Think of me as Dan Reynolds. Just that."
"How can I do that when you take me into your tour bus and drive me 7 hours to a concert venue with basically the best VIP tickets someone can get their hands on." I ask.
"Because Shailyn, the first time I laid eyes on you, when you were on the stage, I saw your tears-not just the tears of a crazy fangirl, but the tears that once fell on my face. The tears that I cried everyday. We relate to each other in the best way and I wanted to tell you that."
I realize that not only is my face wet with tears, but Dan's is too. I love this man. I've always loved him. I loved his music first, then everything I love about him now came flooding into my life.
Before I know it our lips are touching, and my left hand is wrapped around his shoulder and my right hand is in his hair. He has his hand on my waist and the other one one my head. I wince-trying not to act like I'm in pain but he asks:
"What's wrong?"
"Sorry it's just my head. Fainting and stuff."
We remuse kissing and he kindly slides his hand behind my back. We move onto the bed I've been sleeping in for the past few days and I roll on top of him. We continue to kiss until a voice calls us into the kitchen area. We spike up off the bed and smooth our hair and clothes. We glance a passionate look at each other and walk into the other room.AUTHOR'S NOTE
Yay! They kissed! Sorry I haven't updated in a while because I've been busy but I won't leave y'all hangin' for that long anymore!
