Nikki had been in labor for 14 hours now and Squeak and Chris were in the waiting room waiting very unpatiently.

Squeak was pacing the floor and looking at his phone occasionally.
"Yo ya lil nappy headed mf need to crawl his ass out that loose ass vagina already." Squeak said

"The only thing wrong with that sentence is that you said "your" when I don't know if it's mine or not." Chris said playing Toon Blast in his phone.

Squeak stopped walking, "well it's either yours or a DEADbeat dad aka Rome" he said slapping his knee and over exaggerating a laugh.

Chris laughed at him, "hell it could be yours for all we know."

Squeak stopped and squared up, "Mufucka them is fighting words, I ain't got no kids outchea."

"Yeah aight, don't get caught up."

"Says the mf who don't know if the baby he been loving on for nine months is his."

"That's different, the bitch did me dirty"

"Nigggggggggg—"Squeak was interrupted by the doctor coming out from the back in bloody scrubs.

"Family of Nikole Kenard?" He said looking around the labor and delivery waiting area.

"That's me" chris said stepping forward

"Good, we have great news! Nikole just had a healthy baby boy! She fought long and hard, so she's drained but you can visit her and the baby."

"About time, I feel like I was waiting on Jesus to come back. Y'all coulda just had me come back there and slice her up and cut it out" Squeak said

"Thanks doc, lead the way."

The doctor led Chris and Squeak to Nikki's room and Squeak looked at Chris before Chris went in...

"Nigga whatever happens just know if he ain't yours... you got a million more shooters in ya sack ready to be born." He said leaning on the wall

Chris shook his head and turned the door knob, he walked in and looked over into the baby's bed.

"Damnnnnnn" squeak said

Kado was at the office with Amir. While Nikki had the baby, Kado would be handling him. The two just stared at each other for a while, studying each other's movements, and procrastinating about the confrontation.

Kado cleared his throat and looked at Amir

"Son I know what you're thinking, but you've got to hear me out."

"I'm not living in the past so why should I care."

"Son, We need to talk about things. I walked out because I couldn't take it. Your mother was not the person she is now."

"She not alive mufucka... and I'm tired of listening to your lies" Kado said take the gun off safety.

"I cheated! I did, but I tried to make it right.. your mother just couldn't trust me and would kick me out every other night. Treat me like a dog, I wasn't gonna stay in that living situation so I left. I tried to get your mom to co-parent but she wouldn't allow it. I ain't wanna be a deadbeat by your mother fed that shit to you I'm sure."

Kado looked at his father like he wanted him to keep talking.

"Son I'm sorry, I shouldn't have left. But I'm here now. Let me be there..."

"And about you and Rome?"

"He was a buyer, he worked for me. He told me he had a threat. In this business I don't ask names. A hit is a hit."

Kado looked at his dad suspiciously and shot his gun.

The gun grazed the hair on his head and Amir looked at Kado like he had lost his mind.

"That'll show you that I don't play and if you fuck with me, my father or not. I won't hesitate to put a bullet in your brain."

"Understood, but don't ever think I'm a pushover... son or not I don't give a fuck."

"Looks like we got one of many things alike." Kado said and untied Amir.

Yani woke up with a severe cramp on the left side of her stomach.

"Que! Que!" Yani said shoving him to wake him up.

"Cmon Quan! I told you to keep the rough shit in the bedroom!" He said stirring in his sleep

Yani looked at him disgustingly, "BITCH WAKE UP!" She screamed in his ears

"Uh uh qu-" he said opening his eyes.

"I think something wrong with the baby!" She said clutching her belly

Que dialed 911 and grabbed Yani's purse and house keys. "Call Kado and tell him."

"Kado said only if it's an emergency." She said getting up

Que stopped and looked at Yani like she was stupid... "so what's this? An accident?! Call his crazy ass before he shoot my damn house up!"

25 minutes later...

"I told you it wasn't an emergency." Yani said looking at Que

"Bitch you the one woke me out of MY sleep over the lil thang kicking you." Que said rolling his eyes.

Kado entered the room looking around frantically,
"Is everything okay?! What the fuck happened?!" He said walking up on Que

"Uhn uhn, check ya girl. She the one got us up in here over a damn Jackie chan kick." Que said folding his arms.

"What you mean?!" Kado said looking at Yani

"I thought something was wrong with the baby, but it was just her kicking... I didn't know..." Yani said tearing up

"Baby it's okay, stop crying. I swear my baby girl done turned you into a big ass softy." Kado said sitting on the edge of the bed and rubbing her belly.

"I am not. I'm just a lil mushy. Like you now." She said poking him

"Well I tell you what, if y'all get anymore mushy, ima be mashed potatoes in this bitch."

Yani and Kado laughed and then Kado started to tell them about the night he had but got interrupted by a call.

"Hello?"
"Kado, get to the hospital... QUICK. Nikki just had her baby"
"I'm already here, what's wrong. Is it Chris'?"
"Man just get here man, 2 floor. Room 207..."
"Here I come..."
