A couple weeks passed by and Kado and Yani were adjusting to their new living situation. Kado had taking plenty of glances at Yani. She was so fucking sexy to him. They had a couple conversations about their pasts and getting to know each other seeing as though they would be living together.
Kado was 25 and was a "business man" who was partners with Chris. They had been in the game ever since they were shorties but Chris' dad passed the game down to Chris and Kado 3 years back. They were in charge of the most feared and most hated on cartel. Kado didn't have any kids, but was supposed to have 2; a set of twins. But the mother was killed in a hit and run before she had given birth. That day he had lost his family, and any hope of being the settle down type ever again.
Yani was 23 and worked for a strip club in order to pay for school. She had graduated last spring, but Rome had convinced her that the stripping money was better and made her continue to strip. Since they had broken up, Yani had quit working for the Hidden Gems 💎 and starting looking for a real job.

It was a Saturday morning and Yani was just getting back from her morning run.
She walked upstairs and heard Kado singing in the shower and started cracking up.
She took a shower in the bathroom that was connected to her bedroom.
After getting out she oiled herself up and got dressed in a pair of leggings and a grey t-shirt. She walked downstairs and prepared breakfast.

Kado walked downstairs and saw Yani cooking with her headphones on. He sat on the stool and looked at her. She hadn't realized that he had come down and continued to cook.
She starting singing a song about pretty birds and he laughed to himself.
He walked up to her and tapped her shoulder and she squared up.
"Dammnnn Kado! You coulda caught these hands." she said kissing her left and her right hands.
He chuckled, "And you woulda caught these bows Lil nigga."
"Yeah ight, you wouldn't be able to handle the fight I gave" She said lightly punching his arm.
"And you can't handle the dick I could give" He said under his breath.
"What'd you say?!" She said taking her earphones back out.
"I said I hope you made enough for me."
"Duh, but I ain't gonna be cooking for you all the time. I'm ya roommate, not ya woman!"
Kado never really told Yani about his last relationship, all she knew was that he had a couple lady friends over every once in a while.
"Cut it, you know I say hey to them guts, bust my nuts, and send them bitches on they way without giving a fuck."
Yani laughed, "Hey, I'm just saying you getting old. Need to look into getting a woman, or a nurse or something"
Kado looked at her, "fix my breakfast nigga"
"I'll let yo shit burn"
"Cmon, I'm hungry, you playing Run me my shit!" He said laughing holding a plate out.
Yani snatched the plate and started putting eggs, bacon, grits, and biscuits with gravy on it.
"Don't be snatching from me Lil bit. Ima fuck you up"
"Fuck me up then" she said putting his plate down and getting in his face.
Kado looked down at her and looked into her eyes and Yani stared right back at him.
It felt like time had slowed as they gazed at each other.
Breaking the trance they'd been set in, Kado grabbed his plate and bit a piece of bacon.
"Thanks Lil bit." He said walking off.
Kado lowkey liked her, unlike all the other women he had showed interest in, he got to know Yani... but he had to stop himself. After losing Qas and his boys, he made a mental note that everyone was temporary and not to get too close...
