Janelle stepped into Kado's office and was wearing a loose Thrasher t-shirt dress with fish net stockings

Kado kept looking down at his paperwork, trying to finish so he could go home and get ready for their event tonight. Summer Walker was supposed to perform and have exotic dancers on stage.

"Kado, it'll be quick. I have to meet Yanelle and I've already trained the new hire"

"Ok, what's up?"
"I made a mistake, I think it was just jealousy."
"Dr. Kadonis is now in office, go ahead" he signaled with his hands

"When i first started coming around, i had a crush on you. I wanted to have you. But i know now it was only because i was jealous of Yanelle. I only wanted you because I wanted to have her life. I never truly lived. But I've been to counseling and to be honest, you not my type." She laughed awkwardly

Kado raised his brow, "what?"

"When i first came around, i thought Yani was going to be like me. But she's strong and didn't let how she grew up stop her. She's successful, beautiful, and smart as fuck. I thought me getting you was going to make me like her... but no.

"So if you're over your jealous phase, why even tell me?" He questioned

"Cause I'm and honest person and I want a good relationship with my sister."

"Well I'm glad you're honest, it goes s long way. You plan on telling her?"

"As soon as I leave"

"Good, cause i would've had to if you didn't within the next hour, i'ont need Yanelle being pregnant with my seed even stressing or thinking I'd cheat on her." He said sternly

"Well thanks for listening" she said getting up

"I got a question tho"

She looked down "'my mama told me that my real "mother" dropped me off and said it wasn't safe. Something about how I was better off in another family"

"And you haven't heard from your real mother?"

"No, why?"

"I think y'all pops wants to reunite.. he just left and gave me his card." He flashes the card

"I don't want it" She said continuing toward the door

"Why?"

He ain't looked for me all this time, why now? And how did he just now know exactly where to find me all of a sudden." She said

"I feel you but just hear me out, my pops just came back in my life. How every black father that wasn't there when there child was growing up just pops up out of the blue one day when you're older and"just so happens" to find you is amazing. But as much as I can do him dirty and say fuck him, I'd rather just forgive him, and not carry around that negative energy."

"What?"

"It takes energy to hate someone or to carry a bad vibe, but if you just forgive and vibe with everybody then you straight. But all that hating shit ain't worth it." He said shrugging

Janelle shrugged and blew him off, whispering under her breath. "Fuck that, aint no mf using nor abusing me." She said leaving his office and heading out the building

She was caught off guard when she saw a Bentley truck parked outside. She walked over the the outside benches and sat waiting for her Uber.

The car eased up to where she was sitting and the window rolled down.

"Hey pretty lady" He said slyly

Janelle gave him an ugly smirk and waved

"Need a ride? Whoever got you waiting is missing out." He said patting the passenger seat.

"No thanks, I don't need a sugar daddy, gramps"

"You funny Lil mama, how'd you know one of my daughters was pregnant?"

"Just a lucky guess" she said looking at her phone

"Well my lucky guess is that you better get your scrawny ass in this car before that sniper across the street and the man a couple feet behind you with a gun kill you dead right here.

"Janelle looked at who the older man described and started walking toward the car and getting in." 

"Seat belt" he said smiling and speeding off as the man in the backseat put a bag over her head and restraining her.
