Tyler Lockwood, the first successful hybrid created by Niklaus Mikaelson, wants revenge against his sire for ruining his life. Nina Chase and Hayley Marshall, two werewolves who helped him break his sire bond, arrive in town to help him, but are se...
Carol and Tyler Lockwood walked into the Lockwood mansion to find two hybrids waiting for them.
"Who the hell are you two?" Tyler asked.
Carol looked at him. "Tyler, it's okay. They're here for your protection."
"More deputies?" Tyler asked.
Klaus Mikaelson walked in with another hybrid. "Not exactly."
Tyler sighed in annoyance. "They're hybrids."
"I was halfway to Chicago when I heard you were attacked," Klaus told him. "I had hoped to leave Mystic Falls for good, but duty calls."
"Nice to know you care," Tyler said, sarcastically.
"I don't," Klaus replied, walking closer. "I should've killed you for the little stunt you and your friends pulled. Stopping my heart, leaving me in a coffin to rot."
"Yeah, well, you used my body as an escape hatch, then kissed my girlfriend," Tyler told him. "So, maybe we're even."
"Not even close," Klaus said. "But you hybrids are a dying breed. I can't make more of you, and I won't have anyone taking liberties with the ones I have left." He gestured to the hybrids. "Consider them your new bodyguards."
Klaus walked away.

Tyler was lying on a couch in the study and tossed around a football, bored.
Nina Chase and Hayley Marshall walked in.

Tyler stopped tossing the football, furrowing his brows as he heard their footsteps.
"So this is where you've been hiding, huh?" Nina asked.
Tyler sat up and turned to face them, surprised. "Nina? Hayley?"
"Hey, Lockwolf," Hayley greeted him with a smile as she walked closer and wrapped her arms around him. Tyler returned the embrace, laughing. She pulled away, putting her hands around his neck for a moment before hitting him in the chest. "Ass. We thought Klaus killed you."
"I should have called," Tyler said.
"From your trailer park in Florida, you liar!" Nina replied, looking around before sitting on the desk behind her. "You're totally loaded."
Tyler sighed, looking around.
"I chained you up all over the Appalachians," Hayley told him. "Nina talked you through every turn. We helped you break the sire bond. You could've told us your real story."
"I didn't want anybody to follow me back," Tyler told them. Hayley gave him a look. "Werewolves weren't safe around Klaus and you guys shouldn't be here either." Nina rolled her eyes as Tyler stepped closer. "His hybrids are all over this house and so is he."
