Summer Coin.
Summers supposed to be;
Fun, happy and a time for laughs;
The long holiday-
The lie ins-
The childish antics.
So why am I down?
Summers, to me,
Long lonesome and dragging feet;
The long holiday-
The solo card games
The adult like perseverance.
So why only me?
Summers to all but me,
The best part of the year,
The endless fun holiday,
The friends,
The family,
So that's why it doesn't touch me.
Summers to none but me,
The longest part of the year,
The endless boredom,
The house,
On my own,
I'm on my own, on the Summer Coin.
