The Pool

Murmuring pumps,

Faint lapping,

Quiet splashing-

Sounds of the pool.

Glistening azure,

Lone flip-flops.

Left behind glasses-

Sights of the pool.

Scattered reflections,

Army of deckchairs,

Bright towels and costumes-

Clones around the pool.

Tangy chlorine,

Wafts of sun cream,

Cool sun block-

Smells of the pool.

Burning sun,

Rough towels,

Smooth floors-

Feelings of the pool.
