Annie's POV
We finished taking the furniture down from mine and Chloe's room, leaving my room with a few blankets and pillows on the floor, along with one Dave poster and a small light. The room I spent most of my life in was nothing but a huge empty space, it was as if it was completely lifeless. The sky blue walls were fading faster than my moms hair. I'll admit... I was going to miss this room, but at the same time I wasn't. Dave was helping my mom make dinner while Chloe went out with her friends. I sighed and sat down on my white carpet, my phone buzzed
From Troy- hey Davis, um...I kinda miss you, but at the same time I hate you because you're probably with Dave making out and frickle fracking while I'm over here just doodling your name over and over in my notebook. I wonder if that night even meant something to you or if you only went through with it because you felt bad for me. Do you even love me? I know you said you did but if you did you would have tried to stop me from leaving, you didn't even try. Maybe I'm just going crazy, and I'll be honest...I wanted you to come with me, I knew you wouldn't so I didn't ask. Just tell me now, do you love me, or do you love Dave?
I stared at the text for a least thirty minutes until I finally replied,
To Troy- Troy, I can't answer your last question because I'm not sure if I know what love is, is it something you get, or something you feel? I would've gone if you asked me. I miss you more than you can imagine, but by the time you'll get back I'll be living in London. But that night meant the world to me
I sent the message without double checking if I capitalized my "I's" I left my phone and went downstairs to eat, my mom and Dave were siting at the table laughing about a familiar looking pink book.
"Mom...is that my baby book?" She looked up, "and if it was it wouldn't matter, because I am your mother and I love you no matter what"
"Actually Mary, these pictures get funnier while she's standing there now" Dave said with a laugh, the two went back to laughing over a picture of me with cake all over my face. I grabbed the book and held it to my chest, "you're no fun" Dave said standing up and walking over to me, I backed away. "I'm going to pick up Chloe and her friends, you two have fun" my mom went out the back door.
"Now that she's gone..." Dave said with a smirk, "I swear you're a pig" Dave gave me a puppy face, "that doesn't work on me Franco"
"Franco?" He said with a crossed look on his face, "you normally call me Dave"
I realized that I missed Troy more than I thought, "forget it Dave, it just slipped out, I must be tired or something" he took a step back "the something part is right" he walked in the living room and sat on the couch, I walked over to him and sat down, "are you okay Dave?"
"You seem different"
"Is that a good thing?"
"I don't think I really know you as well as I thought"
"Well get to know me then"
"Let's play twenty questions!"
"I guess, whatever works Fran- I mean Dave"
"Well to start off the game why do you keep calling me Franco?" he holds up one finger, "that is your name isn't it?"
"Yes but why do you keep calling me that?"
"Let's start off with a more simple question" I smile, he sighs "fine...full name?"
"Annie Indie Davis"
"I like your name, has a nice ring to it, date of birth" he holds up two fingers, "5/26/1995"
"Spring baby, are you a virgin?" I hesitated, we were only on the third question but I wasn't a virgin, but I didn't want Dave to know that Troy was my first, but they didn't really like each other..."yes"
