He laughs.

"Is it working?"

"A little but that doesn't matter, tell me about yourself" I ask

"Well you know the basics, jock but there's a side of me that no one really knows.. I'm really caring and protective of what's mine and well I act like you, exactly like you."

"How caring are you?"

"Well I protect and care for my mother with all my heart, she comes first in everything, tell me about you, Brooks"

"Well, I'm shy and sometimes very emotional... I live off of Music and I'm very held back and I don't like being touched.."

"Why don't you like being touched?" he asks

I sigh heavily and close my eyes

"I was abused.. physically and mentally and sexually, by my father..."

I open them as I see a tear fall from his eyes

I wipe the tear from his cheek as he looks at me..

"Ashlyn.. I'm so sorry I never knew this"

"No one does" I say

"Ashlyn I've only known you for a little while but I know I'm falling for you, every ounce of my body is numb, and I'm falling for you."

I smile
