THE ROMANCE

We both smile..

I look at the time and that ruins everything

"Shit... I gotta go"

I get up quickly

"Brooks.. why?" He says

"My dad he gets mad when I'm out to long"

He looks at me

"Okay...."

I run out the door and run home

I walk through the door to get an instant slap

"Where have you been?!?!"

Oh great, he's drunk

"At a friends"

I try to run up the stairs but he pulls me to the wall as he kisses me

I push him away disgusted

I run past him out the door

And I run to the first house I think of- Liam's

I run as fast as I can and once I reach his house I pound on his door I look back to see my dad running for me

"LIAM!! PLEASE OPEN UP!!"

He opens the door and I run in and close and lock the door.

"Ashlyn what's wrong?"

"M-my dad.."

My dad starts to pounds on the door

I whimper as the door breaks.
