"I might as well kill myself." I threw my head onto the lunch table on the last day of the week.
"Oh be quiettt.." Liz laughed, eating a cheeto."He's been bullying me the whole week!" I played with my hair, sulking.
"He's only picking on non existent flaws. Ignore him." She defended, rubbing my back.I was about to get up when a familiar face grabbed my shoulder.
"Where do you think you are going?" Ethan teased, pushing me back down. I turned round and looked up at him and his 'gang'."To the restroom, if you might ask." I stood up and he grabbed me. "Get the fuck off of me." I shoved him and he stepped back, shocked.
He gripped my wrist and pulled me to the corner of the cafeteria, in an empty corner out of everyone's sight and told his friends to stay over there.
"You shouldn't have done that." He warned me as I ripped my hand away."And you shouldn't have pulled me over here. A waste of your time." I walked off and he shouted after me.
"Why would I let you suck my dick over there?" He pointed, acting like I asked. I put my finger up at him and grabbed my bag.
"Thanks for helping me out." I told Liz, pissed off. "I was going t-" I put my hand up, stopping her. "Save it." I paced off, watching everyone in the cafeteria laugh at me.
I went through the main doors, on the phone to my mom.
"Please pick me up so you can give me a reason for my absence." I begged, sitting on the steps to get some air. I loved school, everyone knew this. I had a perfect attendance, so me wanting to leave showed how badly I wanted it."It's only 2 more hours, you're fine." She never felt pitiful for me.
"I want to go home." I sulked, trying not to cry."If you want to have a party tonight, I'd suggest you stay in so I can go home and get ready to stay over at Melanie's." I shook my head, confused. "I don't know Melanie mom, understand that I don't know barely any of your friends. I'm pretty sure you have more friends than me at this point. Especially after my constant bullying and embarrassment, nobody wants to be."
"Baby it's okay, you'll have fun tonight and forget all about it!" She consoled me before ending the call. I shook my head. My friend was never good with my emotions, my dad was.
I was sat out watching the cars on the road go by for a while until I felt an arm wrap over my shoulder. I recognised the touch, Cameron.
"Have you been out for the whole of last lesson and half of this lesson?" She asked me."Yes. I don't want to go." I had History and Ethan was in my class, probably awaiting my arrival to bully me some more.
"Is this about Ethan?" She probably heard what he said in the cafeteria.I nodded in shame that he would even get to me like this. I was an easy target. The new girl.
"He'll stop by next week. He never keeps to one person for longer than 2 days usually."
I frowned at her.
"Well it's been a full week. So why has he not stopped?" She just shrugged, not sure of the answer.
"C'mon, I'll walk you to class. If he tries anything I'll roast him right there and then." She grabbed my hand and pulled me up.My class wasn't far from the entrance, so we got to the door quickly.
"I don't want to go in." I hissed. However, Cam started pushing me. I swatted her but she hauled us in."Sorry she's late sir, I had some.. problems that I can't really discuss." She smiled kindly, ripping her arm off of me.
I looked at Ethan and he smirked, sitting up eagerly but staying silent.
"Don't leave me here." I mouthed at her but she just chuckled and walked out.
