Chapter 8: The Story

        I had closed my eyes and got ready for impact. I woke up to see my mom and Todd standing around me. Great what am I going to tell my mom. I had to tell her the truth it may help. Todd helped me up I was lucky to have him I'm my life even if he wasn't my boyfriend. I headed towards the bathroom to see how bad the eye was. It was pretty bad but nothings little makeup couldn't fix. unfortunately I didn't have any makeup with me so I would just look like this till I got home. I knew that I was not going to be able to protect myself. I decided to go home with my mom. I would get my car tomorrow. when I got home my mom made us some tea. We sat down by the kitchen island.

       "so what happened?" She asked me. I knew it was coming. I decided to lie she would take me out of school and I really like Todd.

       "I went to turn around and there was a girl there and she was clutching her book with a fist and I hit her hand with my face really hard and well you know the rest."

       "okay well I'm going to go work on my book."

       It worked I actually tricked my mom. I went to my room and sat on the bed. After I was almost asleep the phone rang. My mom picked it up. She entered my room. She looked mad.

      "I know what really happened."
